Description

As with all of the Zero II saddles in Prologo's collection, the PAS's profile is relatively flat, which enables riders who tend to move around on their perch find the best position. Its PAS shape, materials, and rail system have all been engineered to provide one of the lightest and most supportive saddles available, making it ideal for both road and 'cross applications.

Prologo chose to build the Zero II PAS Ti 1.4 around its Ti rail system. This is a light nickel-titanium alloy rail with a base and clamping zone that are both durable and incredibly stiff — it's the same composition used in the airspace industries due to its low weight and durable properties. Prologo then attached its carbon fiber-injected "skeleton" base to the rails, creating a supportive foundation that works in conjunction with its multi-density padding.

This padding is actually a system of varying foam densities that have been strategically placed to provide the optimal blend of comfort and support. The system works to perfectly complement the saddle's flat shape, with the composition of padding densities moving along a gradient. At the rear section, multiple layers of high density padding were applied to handle the bulk of a rider's weight. The perennial zone, or central section, incorporates a medium density, which then tapers toward the softly padded nose. As the PAS version of the Zero II, this model features an integrated channel that has been designed to eliminate pressure in the delicate pelvic and prostate zones. And to keep the Zero's cover free from scuffs, Prologo finished off the saddle with its durable microfiber covering.

The Prologo Zero II PAS Ti 1.4 Saddle is available in a 134mm width and in the color Matte Black.

Desapointed

Purchased for a new built on June 27. Finished the new bike on July 25 and rode it for the first time. After 40 miles noticed that the cover was lifting from the bottom of the saddle, contacted CC explained the problem and was told that I had only four days to return it before my 30 days expired. I explained that I needed a saddle and four days was not enough to get another but got no help. I have spent a few thousand dollars at CC over the years, never a return and was very disappointed with the saddle and the offer: Buy a new one and we will give you a store credit when the defective one arrives.

Awesome flat saddle

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I don't get butt sore on this even after 1 hr of intense hammering, whereas I would with other saddle. My butt really likes flat saddle. Also, this saddle has a narrower nose so that the nose doesn't rub nor hinder my thighs on the downstrokes, a good thing. The saddle is a touch heavier than other similarly priced saddle, but the build quality is also much better and it feels solid and substantial. My butt will take this over a few gram savings anyday.

Heavier than advertised.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Not even close to 204 grams. Actual weight is 246 grams. It's a well constructed saddle nonetheless.

Please post the actual weights or at least ballpark close.
