You can get a lighter NACK version of this saddle with carbon rails, but for larger more powerful riders, the ti rails of the Prologo Nago Evo TTR TS make more sense. Yes, you'll gain a few grams, but the very durable titanium rails will put up with decades of abuse, and considering the investment, that makes this version a wise choice.

Otherwise you're getting the same, ultra-smart time-trialing perch with cross-wise ridges sectioned into the nose of the saddle. This is what Prologo calls Slide Control. The grooves lock you into the forward riding position that many TT'ers favor, so you won't have to fight to stay in your forward position on the saddle and can get down to the business of powering down the road.

Prologo is also careful not to make a torture device, but a versatile saddle you can use daily. To do that they vary the thickness of the injected carbon frame that supports a multi-density foam layer of padding. Both the compliant frame and varying support system of foam bolster the saddle where you need a solid interface (at the widest portion) and allow forgiveness and compliance where you need "give" and softness. Slide forward to the secondary position, behind the noise, and you'll find a slightly softer purchase, so your tailbone doesn't take a beating.

The Nago Evo TTR TS has a shape designed to be ideal for time trialing. It's shorter than Prologo's Tri-specific saddles, but wider than Prologo's narrowest models, at 136mm. It comes with Slide Control and is available in three color schemes -- Black/black, Black/white, and White/black.

Is this saddle suitable for longer rides, such as 180k? Ironman distance.

Nice TT Sasddle

This is a great TT Saddle! There is just enough padding in the noise so that you can really get up on the nose when you put your hard efforts in. Also the no slip system help you not slip off the front.
