Tri-specific.

The new Prologo Nago EVO Tri40 CPC Nack Saddle relies on the proven Nago EVO body as its platform, and it combines many of the Italian saddle maker's key technologies into a single, versatile Tri-specific design. Its semi-round shape, materials, and rail system have all been engineered to provide one of the most supportive Tri saddles available, making it ideal for all of your upcoming events this season.

Prologo chose to build the Nago EVO Tri40 CPC Nack Saddle around its Nack rail system. This is a composite structure that blends braided carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments into the rails. The result is a lightweight base and clamping zone that's both durable and incredibly stiff. Prologo then attached its carbon fiber injected "skeleton" base to the rails, creating a supportive foundation that works in conjunction with the light foam padding.

This padding is actually a "system" of varying foam densities that have been strategically placed to provide the optimal blend of comfort and support. The system works to perfectly complement the saddle's semi-round shape, with the composition of padding densities moving along a gradient. At the widest 135mm rear section, multiple layers of high density padding were applied to handle the bulk of a rider's weight. The perennial zone, or central section, incorporates a medium density, which then extends toward the softly padded nose. Prologo knows that triathletes and time trial riders spend a good amount of time up on this region of the saddle, which is why the Tri40 features more supportive nose padding than the standard Nago EVO body.

Prologo then wrapped this padding with a soft microfiber cover. The outer layer was constructed with its CPC (Connect Power Control) technology, which is a textured surface treatment that keeps the rider "connected" to the correct riding position. This surface targets the contact points between the cyclist and the saddle, providing added comfort and overall control to the rider. CPC panels are composed of small "volcano" shock absorbers with hollowed heads. As weight is applied to these panels, the heads open up, providing a vacuum-like grip that keeps the rider from sliding around on the saddle.

The Prologo Nago EVO Tri40 CPC Nack Saddle is available in a 135mm width and in the colors Hard Black and White/black.
