When we look at the profile of the Prologo Nago Evo TI 1.4 saddle we can't help but admire its clean lines, low profile nose and slender body. Wrapped tightly in a smooth microfiber cover, the Nago Evo TI 1.4 screams fast right out of the box.

The Nago Evo TI 1.4 is built around a featherweight carbon frame -- the skeleton of the saddle that supports the foam and attaches to the rails. This is molded with varying densities, so that vibration reduction is built-in, and so that the saddle flexes slightly under power. Multi-durometer foam is attached to the frame, with firm support beneath your hips and lighter, more forgiving foam at the mid-section, toward the nose.

While this saddle gets titanium rails, Prologo saw fit to reinforce them with a nickel coating. This does add a few grams, but also increases durability. If you're a more powerful rider, or you want to use this saddle for CX or mountain biking, the additional protection will help lengthen the life of the saddle.

The Prologo Nago Evo TI 1.4 is 134mm, measured at the widest part, and is available in Black/white, White/black and Hard black.

Saddle Nirvana

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I fit well on saddles that are pretty flat side to side. Rounder saddles like the Prologo Scratch or San Marco Regal cause me sit bone pain very quickly. I was riding a Fizik Antares VS but wanted something with a narrower nose and a bit of front-to-back curve. The 134mm wide Nago Evo fit the bill and the "Hard Black" color looks great on the bike. After 150 miles on it I don't think about the saddle at all when riding - it's totally comfortable and there's no pain or numbness associated with it. The construction quality of the Prologo is top notch, and I expect to get many thousands of miles out of it.
