Prologo designed the Nago Evo Nack Saddle to be a race saddle with the durability to withstand long seasons of use. True, Prologo designs lighter race-level saddles, but the Nack utilizes Nano Aluminum Carbon Kevlar, rather than carbon fiber, for the rails. This means that you retain the race-worthy comfort of the Nago, while also bolstering your investment.
The semi-round shape of this saddle balances perfectly between the more rounded long distance saddles and the completely flat saddles in the Prologo line. However, Prologo compensated for one extreme by incorporating its Active Density System. This system places a stiff padding in the back in order to support the sit bones and a softer padding at the midsection and nose in order to provide more compliance with sensitive areas. This means that the Evo is well suited for long pulls, while at the same time allowing for quick weight and position shifts for more aggressive riding.
In conjunction with the semi-round shape, the Easy Stroke Design, or ESD, transitions the widest part of the saddle into deep leg cutouts. ESD also provides further weight reduction. More importantly, though, less inner thigh rubbing against the saddle results in more power to each leg stroke. And while this seems subtle, marginal wattage gains add up over long hours on the road. The ridged nose portion of the microfiber cover minimizes additional power robbing weight shifts. It keeps you parked while in a TT position -- no more sliding forward and backward while trying to keep a smooth pedal stroke. Lastly, the stiff carbon frame, with cutouts beneath the nose, reduces weight without compromising strength.
The Prologo Nago Evo Nack saddle is available in a 134mm width and in the colors Black/black and White/black.
