We'd be lying if we said we weren't suckers for a stealthy race saddle. We can definitely appreciate the curvy lines of a Concor or Turbo, but aesthetically speaking, the Prologo Nago Evo Nack saddle wins the day. On the other hand, we understand that judging a saddle strictly by its looks just wouldn't be fair, but Prologo backs up the aesthetics with technology.
The Nago Evo Nack is built with a variable stiffness frame (the portion that attaches to the rails), made of injected carbon. Varying the stiffness allows the frame to flex in the middle, which leads to better shock absorption and less rider fatigue. Above the frame, the multi-density foam is softer in the mid-section, reflecting the same principles applied to the construction of the frame, and firmer at the paddle (the widest portion), where you sit. Everything is then wrapped in a tough microfiber cover that resists scratches and tears.
The Nago Evo Nack maintains its feathery-light weight by using a carbon shell in conjunction with Prologo's Nack 10 rails. The Nack 10 rails are made of carbon fiber, then woven with Kevlar and impregnated with aluminum particles for reinforcement. They're very strong and durable, and plenty light, but if you're a powerfully built rider, you may want to consider the Nago Evo TS for its titanium rails.
The Prologo Nago Evo Nack saddle is available in Black/ white, Hard Black, and White/ black.
