Nago Evo Nack Saddle

This is an insanely light saddle. True, you can find a yet lighter, carbon-railed saddle than the Prologo Nago Evo Nack, but the Nack is what you're looking for, because it stands for Nano Aluminum Carbon Kevlar. For this Prologo includes aluminum particles within the layup of the carbon-kevlar rails at the clamp zone. In other words, while many manufacturers use carbon as a "magic bullet," Prologo decided to build even its ultralight model with enough protection so that it's durable. Given the expense of a race-level performance saddle, that's only wise.

Also wise is the shape of this semi-round model. A more pronounced dome is available from other Prologo models, and they also make completely flat saddles. But this shape provides some of the advantages of both formats, with enough cushioning for long, seated pulls, but more …a semi-round shape and carbon rails make this a great racing saddle… positions where you'll be comfortable, so if you do need to shift your weight you can do so easily.

Beyond the rails, Prologo cuts weight dramatically via Easy Stroke Design, or ESD, where the widest portion of the saddle rapidly transitions into very deep leg cutouts. Less material in this concave zone results in gram reduction, but also in superior leg stroke, because there's less rubbing against the saddle, which can subtly rob you of power. More weight is excised via the carbon frame of the saddle, which features cutouts beneath the forward portion of the nose. The padding is also very light, but not minimal. Rather, stiffer padding in the back supports your hips, and softer foam is built around the mid-section towards the nose for more compliance where you need it.

The microfiber cover of the Nago Evo Nack saddle is ridged toward the nose as well, so if you need to slide forward into a TT position you'll stay parked, rather than find yourself sliding.
