in a word- Wow!
5 5

I recently had the opportunity to spend some time on this bike in Moab and I must say I was very impressed! I've always been a 29r guy so was a little apprehensive at trying out yet another 27.5 bike that would be disappointing. Im really glad I did. My initial impressions of this bike are as follow:
Climbing- living in Utah its very important to have a bike that climbs very well. I was able to do several 20+ minute climbs with it and the bike felt great. Even though it is a slacker headtube than traditional 29rs bikes that I have been used to the bike never felt sluggish and I got absolutely no pedal bob from it. Overall one of the best climbers Ive been on.
Descending- the bike really descended hard and fast and i always felt in control going down. I found it to be very maneuverable in fast descents and extremely easy to pick lines.
Handling- Being a 27.5+ I was expecting a more sluggish feel but never experienced it. I found the bike to be very agile and flickible on the trail and was able to hit corners hard and fast with zero flex.
Over all this bike has me rethinking the direction I want to go for 2017. Ive never owned a 27.5+ before but Im pretty sure this will be my next bike. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.

If you have questions with the bike or ride quality fell free to reach out to me direct. Im always happy to help!

Serious Competitor!
5 5

I just got back from Moab and spent a extremely fun afternoon testing out the new Jet 9 RDO and I must say I am most impressed! I was always a fan of the previous gen as it was the fastest/stiffest XC race bike out there. A great bike in its own right but could beat the heck out of you over 2+ hr rides. I found the new model to have very similar qualities as far as stiffness and agility but the longer suspension really helped to soften the ride quality yet still be a very stiff bike for power transfers. I spent about 3.5 hrs on it over some moderately technical trails and found the bike to still have very impressive agility. The bike was very efficient at climbing even though its a lot slacker than the previous version. The handling of the bike downhill was impressive as well. A very fast descender that maintains control throughout the plunge. Over all this bike was very fun to ride and Niner did a great job of keeping that race ready 29r reputation in check while creating a sweet epic trail bike for the more technical trails.
Im 5'10 with a 33" inseam and the large fit great

If you have specific questions with this bike feel free to reach out to me direct.

rear shock clarification
5 5

Just to clarify the XC rear shock, Yeti removed the spacer, adjusted the damping and these shocks now have the same shim stack and air volume as the trail shock so essentially it is a trail tune. If you have specific questions with it feel free to reach out to me direct. I own this bike and have redden it all summer so I'm very familiar with how the bike performs over a variety of terrains. It really is an awesome performer and simply doesn't lack in any department.

Lightweight and fast!
5 5

This is a great bike. I owned this last year and really liked the ride quality. One thing that yeti does really well is single pivot designs. The bike climbs extremely well with very little pedal bob. The slacker front end also allows the bike to descent very fast and in control. I found it to be very agile on the trail as well. Its very easy to maneuver and really excels in tight cornering and switchbacks. Whether you are a XC racer or enduro weekend warrior this bike offers something for everyone. I do highly recommend it.

Im 5'10 with a 33" inseam and the large fit very well.

If you have specific questions with it feel free to reach out to me direct. Sometimes the kit calculator doesn't offer all available options so if you need assistance with the build process let me know!

Good improvement-
4 5

I recently had the chance of spending time on this bike in Moab. I rode the 29r version and really had a good time on it. Im 5'10 with a 33" and rode a large which was fairly agile but could have gone to an XL if I wanted more stability. Overall I felt the bike is a big improvement over the previous model. The bike handled very well over moderately technical trails and the extra travel made a big difference on very technical trails. Even through the bike has more travel it still climbed as good as any other bike in its class. Down hill the bike felt very stable and I was able to pick lines on the fly with ease. This bike is definitely a good choice for the enduro racer as it is stiff with a balanced geometry but its also fun for long epic type riding and comfortable for hours in the saddle. I would buy this bike for sure!

If you have specific questions with the bike or need to check inventory feel free to reach out to me direct. Im always happy to help!

Really Fun!
5 5

I recently had the opportunity of spending some time on this bike and I must say I was most impressed. I'm typically a 29r guy so was a little apprehensive about trying the new Ibis mojo 3. I've owned a Ripley in the past so I really liked the ride quality that the DW Link provides. I found this bike to be extremely fun to ride on the trail. I noticed right off of the bat that it had a very balanced geometry making it very lively and agile on the trail. The boost makes the bike very laterally stiff so diving hard into corners with quick accelerations out was very easy with this bike. It has the feel of cornering on rails which I really liked. Although I did miss the ability to get up on over things easier as you get with a 29r It really isn't hard to pick lines with this bike so I didn't miss much. Over all this is a really fun bike to own and its sure to keep you smiling on the trail from beginning to end.

If you have specific questions with this bike or need help configuring it feel free to contact me direct. Im always happy to help! Im 5'10 and rode the large which fit perfectly.

"If Ferrari made an off road vehicle, that's what it would be like to ride the Santa Cruz Stigmata"--One of the best, most versatile bikes we offer the Stigmata is becoming a legend in only a couple of years. I own this bike and I must say pulling the trigger on it was the best bike decision I've made in years. If you are looking for a single bike to do all things skinny tire style, the Stigmata is your rig. It rides well on the road, exudes courage in gravel and can handle any CX course you will encounter. Light, smooth and spunky would sum it up. To put things into perspective I have a Pinarello collecting dust in my basement because there is a new boss in the house! If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up!

We do have some closeouts coming in with very good pricing. Contact me for details. If you need help configuring this bike or have general questions feel free to reach out to me direct. Ive got around 1500 miles on mine over various terrains so very familiar with the performance over time. We can do some minor swapping of parts.

GREAT DEAL ON A CLASSIC!

One of the better deals out there on a proven 29r. This bike performs very well with just enough travel to mix it up in more techy terrain. The component make up is very good but these are custom builds so they can be upgraded or swapped. If you need assistance feel free to reach out to me direct. Ive been on this bike several times so I am very familiar with the ride quality and component make up. Feel free to reach out to me anytime!

fantastic bike
5 5

I just returned from Santa Cruz where I demo'd several of their new bikes. The new 2.0 version of the 5010 is amazing! Its everything you liked in the original only lighter better performing. I rode the bike for a couple of hours over a variety of terrain and found the bike handled extremely well-especially in tight, twisty singletrack. The geometry and inproved VPP made the bike feel as if it were cornering on rails so was extremely fast and really allowed you to do super quick accelerations without the squatting of the suspension. It also climbed extremely well and very smooth on the downhills. This bike is highly recommended.

Id be happy to answer any questions you may have with this awesome bike or need help configuring feel free to hit me up direct!
