I tried these shorts after returning the Pearl Izumi Elite shorts due to them not fitting properly. I am very happy that I decided to make the switch. Nice looking shorts. Good fit. No annoying silicon hair pulling rubber pieces to keep the shorts in place.
Maybe I spent too much on a helmet but this is a purchase I do not regret. Looks much nicer and classier than the Giro helmets. Awesome breathability. The spider lock system is the best adjusting helmet system I have tried. Highly recommend!
These shorts just did not fit me very well. They might have been a bit too small but I don't think that was the real issue. Just a weird shape.
Also, I see other users praise the leg grippers but I thought they were terrible. The silicon leg grippers are basically little pieces of rubber which they put all around the inside of the ending part of the short to provide additional grip. These work great for not slipping. They are also great at pulling my hair with each movement I make. I suppose i could shave my thighs to allow these shorts to fit more comfortable. That's probably what real cyclist's do anyway. I prefer to just return them and buy shorts that don't pull my leg hair.
This is a nice jersey. Very light and comfortable. I don't think think the extra $100 is worth the few grams it saves, but I can't complain.
Definitely get a size up from the measurements it claims on this site. I originally bought a medium due to those numbers (which were the same from the Garneau shorts which fit me in a medium) but the jersey was absurdly small. Large worked out well.
I had these out of the package for about 30 seconds before deciding to return them. They look like used socks from the flea market and didn't feel nice at all.
I got the white as opposed to the gray so maybe this gave me a different impression than the other user but I would certain not recommend these to anyone.
