Me - 5'9/158/31" waist - Ordered a med which fit well, snug but not overly so. Fabric felt great, good compressive support, straps were perfect length, however the leg grippers set my skin on fire! The band has aggressive stitching above and below the silicone gripper band, and the bottom seam, in particular, created a red line that traveled down below the hem the longer I rode. They were okay for the first ten miles but were nearly unbearable by the end of 45 miles. Sad to have to return them as I really wanted some Pinarello bibs to go with my ROKH. Overall, I liked Giordana's quality and will look for another pair of bibs with a different leg band.
Me: 5'9"/155/30.5 waist/37bust/39.5 hip and ordered a Large which fit very well - not race tight, not club relaxed, a perfect semi-form fit. However, the shoulder seam is sewn near the center of your collarbone, way too close to the neck opening, making it appear that your shoulders are too wide for the jersey.
Additionally, the jersey I received resembled the one pictured, but was all black with hot pink pops on the cap sleeves, not anthracite with gray patches and magenta sleeves. It also didn't have the solid material panel in the front that the one pictured does. The entire jersey was mesh (not see-through though.)
Color and material difference weren't that big of a deal, it was the sleeve seam placement that ultimately forced my decision to return this jersey.
Tried a women's large and couldn't extend my thumb fully in all directions, so I ended up buying this glove in a men's medium. In terms of warmth, I was out for a three hour ride in 42F weather, and I was fine for the first two hours but suffered with really cold fingertips for the last hour. I'm still looking for a five fingered glove for 25-40 degree weather.
Is the fit Sugoi's pro (form) or their semi-form?
Me: 5'9"/160/150 miles a week
I own a pair of men's Oslo's in size small and found the women's version to have a much shorter rise - they're fine on the bike, but off the bike I have to make sure to pull them down to avoid the dreaded camel toe... Additionally, they're huge from the calf to the ankle. Luckily, my shoe covers will hide the bagginess here, but it's weird.
On a more positive note, they're excellent in the cold (high 20s to low 50s) and have lasted for 2 winters and probably 5000 miles of winter (cold and rain in Portland, OR) riding.
Me 5'9/160/36C/150 miles a week and ordered a Large which is slightly big on me. I think this jersey is meant to be a relaxed fit, however, because of the stretchiness of the material, carrying my cellphone in one of the back pockets causes the jersey to sag annoyingly to one side. The pockets are also rather shallow. Decent basic jersey if you have other layers with better pockets. I wore it once, but it will likely sit unused in my closet in the future.
Me: 5'9"/160/hips 40/waist 30.5/36C - 150+ miles a week
For these shorts, at least, the note in the sizing section that Giordana runs tight is incorrect. According to the sizing chart, I fall between L and XL, so I opted for the XL due to the note. Shorts were far too big - visibly baggy on me. Even in the correct size, the material of these shorts is very thin and they have very little compression. I have heard good things about Giordana, but these were a big disappointment - returned.
Me: 5'9"/160/36C and ordered a large. WAY too big! It was not only far too big around the chest and stomach area, but it was also too long which almost never happens for a taller person. Sugoi has three fits, pro (form),semi-form, and relaxed. This is supposedly semi-form, but I'd say it is relaxed and then some. I wanted to keep it because of the great price, but I know I'd never wear it. Too bad, nice color and fabric, and the two back pockets seem like they would work well, as in, not sag to the side if your phone was in one of them.
