I want to like these covers but the missing heel cutout is a deal breaker. I've only used it once and already the bottom part is showing wear and tear. At this rate it won't last more than a month.
Also, it fit awkwardly around my left cleat, making it hard for me to snap into my pedal.
I'm returning it and buying something else.
I am already impressed with Giordana shorts but getting bibs took my love for Giordana gear to a whole other level. These are comfortable, stylish, flattering - and the price was great (I got them during the 50% sale).
I will wear these for years to come. Just looking at them gives me an itch to ride.
One of my favorite jerseys, especially in the summer. Love the fit, color and fabric.
I bought the 2011 model, which only has two pockets. I'm glad they upgraded to 3 pockets in the 2012 version.
Bought the gloves for cold mornings, and love them. Thick enough for sub-40 temps but not overly thick.
It's hard for me to find good shorts - it's either hit or miss with me. This one was a hit. The shorts were comfortable throughout my ride, and the material is terrific. It cushioned in all the right places and did not bunch up towards the top of my thighs.
I purchased this base layer for a century ride. I knew it would be cold in the morning but warmer towards the middle of the day. I loved wearing this layer! It gave me added warmth in the morning and after I took off my jacket it was perfect for the rest of the ride. Highly recommended.
Fit was larger than expected, had to return them.
I ordered both this pair and the Castelli Vizio short for women, thinking this would be better (being hand made in Italy and all). I was surprised to find the chamois uncomfortable throughout my 70-mile ride, making me sore for the rest of the day. I expected better from this product. The Vizio shorts from Castelli performed much better by comparison. I wish I bought two pairs of those shorts instead. I'm returning this pair.
I wore these shorts for my first century ride and was comfortable throughout the day. I had a minor crash at mile 25 that ripped part of the short (but better the short than my skin) but it looks like it can be fixed. Highly recommended, especially for long days in the saddle.
