Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A good TT helmet is aero, has venting and is the best shape for YOUR TT position. Everybody has a different position on the TT bike and there is not a "one size fits all" or "best TT helmet". Rather, the best helmet keeps you aero during the entire race.
This means that if you are constantly looking down at your computer during the race, a helmet with a tail is going to turn into a tall brake every time you look down. This helmet has a medium length tail which means you need to be able to stay in your tucked position during the entire event, otherwise look at a stubby tail helmet like the Bambino by Kask.
The only negative about this helmet is its lack of venting. It gets warm during a race but a lack of venting is faster. I know the description mentions that the lens "ducts a sizeable volume of cooling air to flow over the head and out the twin exhaust ports in the tail of the helmet." it really is hard to tell. I have used it in a 75 degree race (10 miles) just last night and I sweated a bit so this summer I may cook a bit!
Overall, Yes I would recommend. Yes, I would buy again. And Yes, it performs well.

I am a big guy (185 lbs) and was a bit leery about the low spoke count and lighter weight of these wheels. After spending a ton of time on them on crappy Colorado roads, these wheels were a steal for how great they perform. Miles and miles of hard riding on them have not resulted in any out of trueness. Not sure what is unique about the braking surface but whatever Shimano did allows for FAST stopping.

I upgraded from Dura Ace 7900 which I thought was great shifting but Ultegra 6800 is a HUGE improvement. Best word to describe it is smooth. Very light action to shift rear or front derailleur.
Only big adjustment is the trim function. You get 3 clicks to go from big ring to small. First is to "big ring trim", second is to small ring, and third is trim for small ring. This takes a lot of getting used to and is kind of a pain to set up initially. You need an inline cable adjuster to make the Ultegra installation. Once adjusted, it works great!

This mix is amazing, and most importantly, helps you SIMPLY make an great tasting cookie that can be taken during and after your workouts. During a 4-6 hour training ride, you need fuel but if you bring along some of the mass-market "energy bars", they taste like crap and you soon start to avoid eating which is dangerous.
Buy this mix, add in your favorites (chips, walnuts, cherries, etc.) and you will make great tasting cookies that you will devour and want more!
