Gets the job done
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been using the hopper for a few weeks and I like nearly everything about it. Rather than stuff my man purse in the center jersey pocket I use the strap to secure it under my saddle. This setup great during long winter training rides when I want to carry extra food or clothing layers in that pocket.

My review would have been a 5/5 but....

When I first saw the hopper at Sea Otter Classic it was accompanied by a very nice coffee bag, made from a material similar to reusable grocery bags. That's what I was expecting with the hopper. Unfortunately the little paper coffee bag that came with my hopper was rubbish.

In the attached picture you can see the out-of-focus manpurse I'm carrying in my hopper.

Other than the pouch letdown, this strap is getting the job done. I especially like that it affixes entirely to the saddle rails and there is no velcro around the seat post to scuff up the inside of my bibshorts. Let's hope the strap system lasts and lasts.

Nice! (w/ Matching Fishnet)
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I won these along with the matching fishnet liner in a raffle at Sea Otter Classic in 2011. I've used these in cyclocross & XC races, spin classes and even running events. The combo has held up pretty well, save for a few broken stitches in the fishnet. Oh, and the "female" side of the velcro has frayed a little. I'm not sure why that velcro is even there -- the elastic on the back does a fine job.

I liked the combo so much that I bought the matching long sleeve top to complete the kit.

Great glasses for the $25 I paid on bonktown. They match my team cycling kit and I use them for dawn patrol rides (red), driving (gray) and night racing at the velodrome (clear). I just wish I could find some photochromatic or polarized lenses online. Oh, they are a tad bit heavier than some of the other glasses I own, if that matters.
