This wheelset rocks! Mounting tubless tires was extremely simple. It didn't even require the use of a tire lever. The set comes with a "tubless kit" which are a pair of presta valves and the tubeless rim strip (which is Gorilla tape). The Gorilla tape was simple to install along with the valves. DT Swiss 240S hubs and the Enve rims pair nicely. I plan to upgrade the engagement on the hubs to the 36 step star ratchets, an easy upgrade. The wheels ride extremely nice, lightweight, and very stiff. A noticeable difference on climbs. Climbing ability on my full suspension with these wheels approaches the ease of my hard-tail single speed (not exactly the same, but much improvement). Very satisfied so far, makes my full suspension bike feel very crisp and lightweight (24.45 lbs)
My only concern is adjusting spoke tension. The spoke nipples are inside the wheels, so adjusting the tension would entail removing the rim strip. Although this design makes for a very clean looking wheel with no exposed spoke nipples, this seems rather inconvenient for repair or adjustment purposes. Oh well, I haven't had to make any adjustments in that area yet, so 5-stars as of now!
These rotors are phenomenal. I could not seem to quiet the squealing from my SRAM XX brakes until I installed a pair of these rotors (160mm front and rear). The brake performance is excellent. There was no loss of braking power or pulsing effect that I've heard about from other rotors. I was on the brink of purchasing a new set of shimano xtr brakes until I installed these rotors. Well worth the investment.
I own the Dominator 5's as well as this pair. The fit is really consistent with both pair. Incredibly supportive and the ratchet buckle is a must. I really like that this pair has many replaceable parts including the buckle strap and sole lugs. I can't replace the sole lugs on my Dominators and they are wearing fast. This shoe rocks!
