L: I'm nearly the same measurements (6'0.5", 168lbs, 39" chest, 32 waist) and have enjoyed the S5 Unos for over a year. The straps are starting to get loose, but I appreciate the non-compressive front. Legs and stomach are where the compression is needed and these deliver the right amount.

The chamois is wide and perfectly positioned, but the shorts lacked sufficient space up front. I tried the large for my 6', 165 lb, 32 waist frame and it fit well enough except too compressive up front. Good leg grippers that don't pull hair on those of us who don't shave.
Not sure why the leg grippers were too tight, since it fit everywhere else. I'm 6', 165lb, 39" chest, 32" waist and I tried the Large.
Plus 1 on the sizing comments. I wear a large normally with LG gloves, but needed a XL in these. The white looks cool, until the palm material is washed and bleeds a little. Light on the padding (which I prefer). But, the price is only slightly more than crocheted gloves and you can wash them...
Wears better than many other "race" tires and is superb in the wet. Rode these in the Gran Fondo San Diego in 2010...the wet and cold one. They held up to numerous cuts that should have caused a puncture. Tough to stomach the cost though.
