The first thing you notice about the Lite Bam jersey when you pick it up is how well you can see light right through the fabric.
It breathes fantastically well and kept me drier than any other jersey I've had before.
There are several things to note though:
First, only one pocket is a real bummer. I usually only use my side pockets, but it's handy to have two.
Second, when you're really getting sweaty, darker colors on the jersey get rather shiny, as if the sweat is pooling on the outside. On one hand, it's doing it's job. On the other, it looks a bit strange.
Finally and most importantly, if your rides are long or at high altitude or both, you *will* need extra sun protection on your shoulders, collar, and back under the jersey. This is the first jersey where I've been noticeably sunburned right through the fabric.
The second time I used it, I actually wore sunscreen underneath, but at the end of the day I could tell there were spots I missed. Obviously, it's a lot more difficult to adequately cover your back and reapply every couple hours than the usual places we're using to applying sunscreen.
