I use this for Donwhill Longboarding. I haven't crashed in it yet, nor has it taken any impacts, but it seems sturdy enough. I had Giro halfshell that kept the back of my head intact in a 35 mph crash on asphalt, and the Remedy has significantly thicker foam so it should be very good protection in a crash. It fits nicely. My head is 57 cm and it fits perfectly. One of the reasons i picked this helmet was the shape of the back. It does not come straight down the back of the head but is angled inward at the base of the neck. This enables better head position when in tuck than other helmets i have tried. The visibility is excellent. FOV is no significantly reduced when wearing the helmet. The vent in the face guard also allows for some vision so that you can glance down at your feet/board without necessarliy having to move your entire head. It is also very light. Lastly, some might not like the clip style chin strap fastener, however, I find it very much preferable to a d-ring strap when wearing gloves. Sunglasses can be worn with this helmet. Buy it.
