Bought the medium cage silver when I got rid of my big ring and went to a 2x10 setup. It matched up fine since I have XT everything else as far as the drivetrain is concerned. Easy to set up as well, just had to find the right manual online though.
POC has great designs that incorporate quality in simplicity and in function. This jersey is another great example. The jersey does not feel that light, but it surprisingly breathes well. I've always been weary of clothing from Europe because they tend to run small, but this one fits true to size. My only con is that it's pricey like all of POC's stuff, but what can you expect from well designed, quality stuff imported from Sweden? I got mine on sale.
Honestly, these are some VERY expensive shorts. If you're thinking of getting them be willing to pay even during a modest sale. I got mine when they on sale for $90. With that being said they're put together well and they're TLD - so they look cool. It's a quality TLD product and fits true to size. It comes with it's own chamois and of course with the design (zipper vents) it breaths well. The shorts are made of a material that is lightweight, durable, and "stretchy" like their Skyline short. The Ace shorts are a bit of an upgrade from those shorts.
These shorts are great for warm days. It would be nice if there were belt loops or some other means to tighten the fit, because a garter is what keeps your shorts up. Also, because the shorts are baggy they tend to catch on to the bike.
Saw this jersey on that one GoPro Challenge video that EVOC did. It breathes real well and kept me cool during low-mid 80 degree weather. It's also durable. Ate it on a couple of times on some rocky switchbacks and no rips, holes, or tears. I was able to fit some SixSixOne Rhythm softshell elbow pads under the sleeves. My only con with this jersey is the price (imported). Luckily, it was on sale.
