These bibs are plush both in the fleece fabric and chamois. Best part is that they fit (L), given that I need a little more room than a Euro-pro climbing specialist. I tried on many other of the high end winter bib shorts in XL & XXL and these are the only ones that fit properly.( I wear 36W, 5'10") And the price is much less than the others too. Rode them in low 40 degree temps with leg warmers and felt like they could have handled temps down into the low 30's.
I gave 4 stars only because they are not as anatomically designed( not as many separate panels) as the super expensive Euro bibs....but like I said, these fit an American everyday rider at much less cost. They are well constructed and appear to be quite durable.
GREAT FOR COLD,WET,WIND! 22 degrees with 20-30 mph wind today. A couple of layers and 2 1/2 hrs. of riding. Lots of zips to ventilate and great fit for the winter body...5'11',190LBS. bought size large and it fits my girth and 35" arm length.. Now I need shoe covers of equal quality. to withstand these conditions. Any recommendations?
22degrees with 20-30mph winds. no problem for these tights. fit great...xl,5'11",190lbs. well made. strong zips, nature call friendly, stretchy, good chamois.
will these work with Sidi shoes and speedplay road or speedplay frog?
ANYONE USE THIS JERSEY IN COLD TEMPS? HOW'D IT WORK?
This is a simple, practical garment.Light weight and perfectly designed with big enough arm holes, length in back, pockets and mesh vents in rear, 2 way beefy zipper with toggles big enough to work with gloves on. Collar high and loose enough to accommodate the extra layers at neck. And it didn't break the bank. I wear large in most everything except real euro kit when I gotta go x&xxl. This vest I got a large and it's perfect for wearing over 3 layers . (5'11" @ 185lbs...winter/not fightin' weight.)
this is a very well made jersey with an athletic fit. A little too roomy for me in large.(I wear 42R). Very nice fabric and zipper. Maybe a medium will fit but might be a little snug @ underarms.
This jersey is very well made. I bought the XL and the American style fit is good with long enough sleeves(I have 35" arms,16 1/2" neck) and back is long enough without hanging too long and has nice gel hem so not to ride up. Sleeves have just enough room inside for wearing long sleeve under garments. Nice high enough collar with very comfortable neck and enclosed zipper closure. The zipper itself is flexible and has good strong rubberized pull. Fleece feels good for mid to low 40's fht.(w light layers) and then up to 60fht.w/o.
The size chart is true. I now weigh 190lbs.with winter belly and stand 5'11". Even at my proper weight of 175 this size would be a good fit.
Free shipping is a nice touch too as is the great on-line chat service for tech support.
anyone know the temp range for these bibs?thanks
These leg warmers are great! I've worn them in extremely wet and windy conditions down in temps as low as low 20's Fht. The spray from the road(even w/fenders)does not penetrate the fabric and I feel virtually no wind. They fit slightly loose(95%)compared to leg warmers that have no wind/wet protection fabric as this protection is a tad less form fitting which is OK to create a slight air barrier which is good in freezing temps. (Depends on size; I use large @ 5'10"-175lbs. if I was an inch shorter I'd use medium.)Really well made w/lots of functional details, stitching&reflective bits. Excellent product! Thanks LG...and RealCyclist.
