These panniers have been on my commuter for about a month now, along with the LG R-16 topper. They fit my rack fine and are very stable. They have kept my clothes and lunch dry in light rain. This time of year when I need extra layers in the morning, but not in the evening, there is plenty of room to carry a jacket and anything else that needs to go home.
I would not recommend these for anyone wanting to carry more than commuter essentials or day excursions, they are not high capacity. I have failed to fill them to capacity on a commute, but I don't wear size 13 men's boots to work, either.
I've been commuting with this bag for about a month and don't have any complaints. Zippers are durable, capacity is plenty, it's sturdy, and the insulated main compartment does a decent job of keep breakfast warm. I've ridden in light rain, and everything stayed dry.
Making the expander and compartment zippers different colors was a nifty idea. Other toppers don't have this feature, their owners spend a lot of time unzipping the wrong zipper.
The bottom is about 6" wide, slightly wider than my 5.5" rack, but it secures to the rack well with no stability issues.
Also, the safety light holder doesn't hold my knog rear light well, it is designed for lights that hang more than wrap, handy if you have the right kind of safety light mount.
I'm 99% sure I'll be happy with this bag for a long time.
