I used this most while skiing since when biking it doesn't allow for the GoPro to angle up far enough resulting in filming the ground. But after reading a few tutorials, just clip the GoPro in up-side-down that way you can angle the camera up as much as you'd like and when editing the video, just invert the video. Easy fix. Now I use the Chesty almost every time when skiing and mtn biking.
I recommend it to anyone.
I was really impressed with the LCD BacPac. I never had to worry about getting the right angle when filming.
It worked great until one day it decided not to work anymore. I never had any hard impacts with it but just broke on me. True to their word, I simply returned it at Backcountry for full refund.
Great action cam for the price. Records excellent quality video and couldn't be easier to use. Slide the switch and go. Its too bad contour isn't around anymore; somebody should buy them.
I highly recommend the Contour Roam, (if you can get your hands on one).
I have a new Toyota Tacoma and bought the small. This is definitely the best way to shuttle mtn bikes around if you have a truck. Pad is durable, keeps bikes from scratching car and bikes don't move at all when driving. Just throw the bikes over the tailgate and be on your way.
I highly recommend this pad.
