Here's what others have to say...

Got these. They are good to mid 20's at best. Was out this am for 1 hour at about 28 degrees with 15 mph wind. thumbs and tops of hands were very cold by the time i got home. 5 degrees in these gloves would give you frostbite. I ride in all sorts of temps and no way would i venture out in these that cold. You get much better results with a lobster glove. Having said that I will say it is a quality glove for temps 25-40. It is not too bulky, has good wind resistance and flexibility and plenty of other good features. I have the castelli 5.0 also and if i had to pick i would take the mavic over those.

wore jacket today..50 degrees temp with long sleeve jersey. perfect really. cut the wind and did not overheat. Was just a spin and not a hammer training ride but very comfortable. I am 6' 185. originally got the large but just too tight so returned for the xl which fit perfect. Highly recommended and looking forward to my first rain ride in jacket. Only wish might be a little longer flap in the back for spray off rear tire.

I am 6' 0" 185 lb. I bought the XL. The large was too small in the arms. The XL is perfect. form fitting but not too tight. looks great and very comfortable. Wore it this morning in 19 degree temps with zero wind. Was very comfortable. Baselayer was castelli airco with midweight merino wool mid layer. base layer had sweat so plenty insulating. Did not feel any wind blow through. Also work the other day with 32 deg and 20 mph wind. Again great jacket. The comment applies that this feel great on the bike but when standing it feels tight. its cut to be riding. Looks fantastic.

Excellent. Upgraded from Chasm with spd to ultimate with time RXS. Instant improvement in efficiency and power transfer. My usual 20 mile ride that I complete in 1 hr 7 min I completed in 1 hour 2 min 30 sec. Much stiffer better more consistent pedaling rotation. Also the shoe insulates better in the cold ... 30 degrees with covers on and smart wool socks were no issue. I love these and highly recommend them at either price/BT or RC. go up in size. I wear an 11.5 dress shoe and purchased the 12. The complaints about the mavic being too small or too tight are simply due to buying the wrong size, this shoe is like butter

29 degrees with 10 mph wind. Rode for 1 hr 15 minutes. Legs very comfortable, no issues and warm when I took them off. one person complained abt zippers at ankles, however you just have to zip them down and then fold zipper up and locks it preventing from unzipping. Very comfotable, soft and flexible. Shaped well. wore over a pearl attack short . Comes high enough to cover the belly and with a windstopper jacket over the the top you are very comfy. Highly recommended.

Rode with this jacket today. 29 degrees, dark and wind at 10 mph at my back on way out and in my face on way back. 1 hour fifteen minutes. Castelli Airco long sleeve as a base layer then a midweight merino wool/poly mid layer then the jacket. Perfect the whole time. Not too hot and not too cold. Just right, kind of like Goldilocks. I am 6' 190 and wear the xl. enough room still for a thicker layer but not restrictive at all. A smaller size would be too tight unless that is what you like. I thought I might need the Stelvio that is windstopper all around but that would be too warm. THis jacket breathes well in the back and with the inner layers as discussed warmth is perfect and I did not overheat. Have also used this in the 50's with just a single layer and the vents open with no problem. This is a good deal at the price offered.

used this twice. Foggy( crazy thick fog pedaling through soup road wet ) morning 48 deg F . Jersey covered in fog/dew that beaded right up. Completely dry underneath. After the ride had traditional spray of water/dirt/mud on tail and it wiped right off with water. Just wore jersey with a nike dryfit summerweight long sleeve underneath. Sleeves are longer so they cover the cuff of the glove no problem sizing runs a little smaller than normal but not as small like Castelli.

Clear morning 48 degrees again perfect. very pleased. Wore normal club jersey over the top for a little extra wind break.

My only complaint would be a reflective something on the jersey. Black in the dark in the am not the safest but a strong light makes up for the lack of visibility which is why i went with 4 stars instead of 5

I use this shoe on a road bike with SPD pedals. Very stiff, and even though a mtn shoe it is almost identical to the road shoe and includes the grippy walky stuff. I am not a cat 1 or 2 3 4 racer for that matter but i do ride hard training and group rides 150-200 miles per week. This shoe lets you get off the bike and have breakfast without slipping around or forgetting your cleat covers. Also great adjustment in the heel. my foot never slips and even after all day in RAGBRAI 60 miles on and off bike walking gravel and pavement etc eating pancakes no foot soreness. If toes swell just loosen the front adjustment. I think too many people try to fit in with the pack with a road shoe and overlook this option unless you are a crazy racer focused on liqht spinning weight.
