Sweet material and seems tough as hell, but they're effing HUGE. The cuff velcros tight, but its just way too much material. Sending em back. Ok, so maybe they're designed for use with armour underneath, still huge. We're talking 1998, middle school, skater punk huge pants.
Mounting strap allows light to rotate under the bar. Battery is not lithium ion, so it's heavy and it won't last. I charged it and left it alone for a week before night riding and it had completely lost its charge. I bought this on chainlove for $20 thinking I couldn't go wrong, but this light is never going to be a good choice. For twenty bucks, I guess its a unique looking paperweight.
really comfortable, but they slide down on me. low profile fit under jeans well. i had some kneepads from Team Blowin' It that use a seatbelt-style web strap just above the fat part of the calf that makes them stay put great. if the flanks had that instead of elastic, i'd be set for life.
everybody says they're great. the velcro-on kneecap sounds like a great idea for custom fit, but it just didn't do it for me. got em for my gf, but we both tried em on and hated them. WAY too tight for one thing, plus the articulation between knee and shin plate isn't spaced out enough. i don't know how everybody loves these things.
had the jacket for a few months. great warmth and water repellence. high collar is sick for hiding from the wind. some punk stole it out of my car and i keep waiting to find one at the chainlove price again, but i may not be able to wait til then. def gotta get another.
