These gloves consist of a stretchy spandex type material on the backs and synthetic leather / suede palms and thumbs. There is no velcro strap to release them so you have to just stretch them on and off. This makes the gloves a little difficult to remove after a ride. According to the size chart, my hands were on the small side of 'medium' but I wish I'd gotten a large.
Aside from the sizing issue though, I do believe that these gloves leave me with less hand numbness than others I have tried from Pearl Izumi and Giro, which was the main thing I was after. Also the acid green color is nice and visible for hand signals.
I like this jersey very much. Good fabric, comfortable and cool.
I am 5'10" 160 lbs and have actually bought two of this jersey - one in medium and another in large. I can wear either one but overall I think I prefer the large. This is consistent with what others have observed regarding Castelli sizing, runs on the small side. Either way this is a 'race fit' jersey intended to fit snug against the skin - it is in no way loose or flappy in the wind.
For me, the medium requires a couple inches of 'stretching' to zip up where the large requires only an inch or so. The zipper on the medium does lay flat better when zipped than the large, which tends to buckle a bit especially when bending over. Just depends on how snug you like your jerseys I guess.
