When I first tried these knee pads on I thought they were way uncomfortable. Almost too undersized even though I like my knee pads to fit tight. After the third time wearing them I became more comfortable but I found that some of the stitching was coming apart off of the main pad. Instead of sending them back I got the sewing kit out and stitched them up myself. They are fine now and are not coming apart after a few rides. I like the profile of these pads but I would have to say the 661 pads are much better. I expected a little better product from Troy. Next time I'll go back to the 661s.
I decided to try Oakley's shorts and get out of my fox diper shorts. I like these shorts much better. True to fit. The inner liner fits like compression shorts unlike a pair of depends. The short itself is though and well vented. My only sugestion to Oakley is to stich in a second small pocket on the right leg. If you like not carrying gear in your shorts the one small pocket is fine, but if you are a cargo nut you'll be disapointed. All in all great all mountain and freeride short. Size it up one if you wearing hip pads
Got these shorts for the wife, and she loves 'em. True to size. Fabric is very nice because it is tough but also streches. Great for range of motion. Nice pockets too without that cargo short look or feel. Truly a great all mountain short you can wear all day!
