Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
welp, i own so much gear for everything i do (multisport, outdoor type) that it already takes a lot of time to research and buy let alone have free time to post reviews however, the performance this piece of equipment is so superb i have to make an exception.
I am 5'11"/1.81mts, 75Kg/165lbs so im slim/medium build and chose the Large size due to my chest and waist measurements and it fits perfectly. I took the first ocean swim today in 80F+ waters and it felt excellent. Super comfy and truly hydrophobic. It is my first tri-suit mainly because i wanted a bit more protection from elements like sun and jelly fish and i swear it almost felt like i was sliding through that water like whoah.
Hincapie is not a brand you see everywehre everyday. In fact, this is the only site i've seen it and it seems to be one of those rare brands that deserve more credit than they take. My GF bought one of those 2XU suits and that alone took double the time to dry hanging in the shade than mine.
I love hincapies white & blue color. I wish more suits were lighter colors like that instead of your typical mortuary BLACK. =)
Now the only non-important thing i wonder is the nature of this brand's name. Hincapie means something totally random and off-topic in Spanish. If you thought 2-Times-You (2XU) was revolted and wordy Hincapie goes beyond that !
Please note that i would usually be Medium size in most other brands. But for some reason Hincapie runs a little smaller than the rest, hence why i chose the Large and it fits right in!
