Got a pair of these from Bonktown about a week ago and did 60 mi in them on Sunday. These are the most comfortable shoes I've had so far, they're like wearing slippers to ride in (but with a read stiff soles). Highly recomended (unless you have wide feet, then they might be a little snug).
I have several diferent brands of bibs (Capo, Garneau, Castelli, Craft, Sugoi, and more) and these fit me better, and are more comfortable on long rides than any of the others. The chamois isn't too large, like some of the others. on sale, they're an awesome deal. I just wish Realcyclist would carry more of the Santini line.
I got my wife her 2nd pair of the Neo Power shorts for Mothers Day because they're the ones that she always grabs. She has Capo's and Giordana Lasers, but they seldom get worn. She loves the compression fit, especially if we've ridden or she's gone for a run the day before and her legs are still recovering.
I don't want to totally trash these bibs because the quality seams to be very good. I wanted very much to like them, but there's something about them that just doesn't fit me right (in the chamios area). Currently, ther're just being used for very short rides, or if all my other bibs are in the wash.
I can't comment yet on the durability of these because i've only done 3 rides so far with them, but the fit of these is the best I've had so far. Awesome chamois!
I now know why they call then "vent" flex gloves. After the second ride (gloves were never washed), one of the pads on the palm has started comming off, leaving a hole behind it. That type of ventilation is NOT good.
I recently purchased a pair of DeMarchi Contour Evo bib shorts from Realcyclist, and really like them, but I did have to have the shoulder straps shortened a little. I am 5'8 1/2" / 33" waist and ordered "Large". I am considering ordering a pair of the Capo Limited Edition bibs, and wasn't sure if I should stick with Large, or should order a Medium (based on my height). I like my bibs to fit snug, but am concerned that since they are compression anyhow, Medium might be too snug in the waist / legs.
Thanks for any advidce.
