These bib shorts are unbelievable. I just picked up a pair. I previously used the Assos Fi.13 S5's and these are a marked upgrade. The quality is simply there. Both of the major changes (the kuku penthouse and the detached chamois) are SUBSTANTIAL improvements. When you try them on you do not quite notice this; however, both changes make riding in the saddle much more comfortable. The shorts fit true to size as well. I wore an XL in my S5's and an XL in these too. The other shorts, the Neopro and Equipe are also good but I would try each pair on because they do fit differently. Personally however, these are the best because they have the kuku penthouse, which actually works and is amazing.
What cycling jersey is this based off? The ss.Mangussta?
This vest works amazingly. It turns any long sleeve jersey that would ordinarily only go down to about 55 degrees into a cold weather jacket. Get this now. It is amazing.
These socks are exactly as advertised. They provide an extra layer to block the wind. They do not work as well as overshoes, but work well for temperatures where your toes might get cold but you are too lazy to wear shoe covers. Great for temps from 35 - 70 degrees.
These bib shorts are amazing. In fact, they are the best I have ever worn. Everything you read about Assos in the reviews is true. It fits amazingly on the bike, it works, its durable, and its expensive. The fabric is on another level. If you have a store near you that carries these items, take a moment to stop buy and simply inspect the quality of Assos' products. Then, buy these!
These tights are amazing. They are absolutely worth the money. I was skeptical at first but it is unbelievable how good these things are. Save up some money, buy these tights, take care of them, and just use them every ride. I used to think there was value in purchasing many different bibs / tights and alternating them, but not I would never do that. Simply buy a top-of-the-line pair of bibs and tights and roll with those until they wear out, which with Assos, will not likely be very soon.
