Here's what others have to say...

I'm a 30" waist, which should be a small by the Gore size chart, but I sized up to medium because that's what I have to do with Castelli and Sugoi. That might have worked for the waist, but I couldn't even get the shorts on over my legs -- the grippers are so tight and narrow (and smell really rubbery). It also appeared as though the side panels had too much material to ever lay down flat. No idea about the pad, since we never actually "made contact," but it basically looks like a large sponge. Oh, and although the specs say the inseam is 8", it's more like 10". Can you say, "Return?" (They do look good in the picture, though.)

I have this jersey in black and it fits exactly like the description said -- a little snug through the pits and chest when standing up straight, but perfect on the bike. (Medium for 38.5 chest) Tried to get another in red (twice) but way too tight. The design, construction, and material, however, are fantastic. Never feels wet, dries almost immediately. Good strong pockets plus a zipper stash. Seriously handsome and functional.

Awesome design and quality Italian craftsmanship -- just didn't fit me. At 5'7"/140/38"chest, medium should have worked but was extremely tight in the pits and across the back. Large would be too long. Too bad; loved the look and the high-performance material.

Great feel and fit if you're about 5'7" like me -- and appreciate the slightly shorter legs. Chamois is very soft, not bulky at all, but you want a little more pad for more than 2 hours in the saddle. At 140, medium fits me just right.
