Are the designs and signage on the jersey heat transfered or are part of the material?
I wear a size 13, 48 in these fit great with room for winter wool socks. I just wanted a cycling shoe that I could walk around in comfortably, but still be an awesome bike shoe. This is it. I walk normally. The cleat doesn't scrape the ground. I think they are really comfortable on the bike so much so that I forgot that I had them on, no joke. They don't fit tight or loose, just right. I don't and won't use them for mountain biking so I'm sorry I can't advise there. I feel fortunate that I have them to use. I don't have any cons for these shoes.
Rode for 40 minutes in 30 F degrees. Used a thick alpaca wool liner. Finger tips were cold in 25 minutes, numb by 35 minutes. Sending them back.
I am 6'3", 230 musclely, 36 length sleeve in dress shirts, 44 chest. Tried the XXL. The body leaves space to move but it's kinda of a 'baggy' fit, mainly because of the material. The arms are long...I rolled up the sleeve and it was still down to the back of my hand, past my wrists. I did love the amount of pockets- three in front, one in back. The styling made me look like a race car driver but without the sponsor patches. Not a good look to me. I didn't want to rate this jacket with stars because I didn't use it but I had to in order to post a review. Sent it back.
I rode in this jacket for 35 minutes with a thin stoic wool base layer and CX spandex layer in 35 degrees Fahrenheit, but it was 5-10 colder with wind chill, and wind gusts. Fingers were cold but, Oh, was my body toasty, though not hot. The collar is comfortable as heck, back pockets are big but unobtrusive even with all my stuff in them. I had the black and also the orange. Kept the orange, love the orange, awesome color. Bet I could go 5 -10 colder with just a what I had on. Gotta get better gloves though. Sizing, I am 6'3, 230, muscle-y, 44xl jacket. The 3XL fits awesomely. Almost like a jersey but with space for thin layers. If you're thinking of getting it, do it.
Looks-Beautiful in red, orange, blue.
Fit-slim, 3x fit me (44xl jacket, 6'3", 225) like a bug in snug rug.
Function- As advertised, windproof. On my bike, I was dynamite with just a base layer on in 45 degrees.
Damn- the side seem near the back pocket separated. Will return and hopefully that flaw is a fluke. Will report back.
Sizing-6 3 220lbs, xxl fit me with no bagginess but certainly not tight. Love the style. Rich colors. My particular jacket's collar is rather floppy and not snug to the neck like my other Castelli track jackets. It's going back.
