Fit: great slim fit. I'm 5'7" and have a lean build so these aren't super baggy. I have a pair of Royal racing shorts that are waaaay too baggy, and look out of style with my little calves.

Looks: Awesome! The blue is actually more like a denim looking blue, but it's light and flexy material makes it cool.

Pockets: ugh, the only downside. there's a non-zipper front which is great when heading out the door and need to throw gloves in. Then a zippered front that is standard. But the fail happens on the back/side pocket...when I'm riding downhill, I don't carry a pack and keep my phone in my back pocket...this one does not fit my galaxy s4 at all. At most this will fit a bar, but I wish it was just a tad bigger to keep a phone! The rear butt pocket is pretty worthless because it's so shallow.

Haven't test the chamois yet.

These are great feeling and functional shorts. Tons of great features, simple pockets, and great material. The only issue I have is that I have the small (I'm 5'7") and they are silly long and baggy...I feel like I'm swimming in these...don't get me wrong, the waist is fine, it's the rest of the cut. A little dated on the cut for my taste, but I'll give them a go.

These failed for two primary reasons: started tearing during a crash, and slipped during crash and slip during normal use. I really wanted to replace my old huge 661 Kyle Straits, and get a little bit more shin protection without have full leg armor...these seemed perfect. They do look great, and they pretty low profile for aggressive pads. However, after 2 crashes, the strap on the rear mesh already tore, which makes me wonder how long the wrap-around mesh will last on crashes. The other issue is that they need to be pulled up quite often...even after the crashes. I have pretty small shins, but big thighs...and they start sliding down. The straps are also already maxed out wrapping around my leg (I'm 5'7" and bought the small size) so any stretching of the straps will require some stitch work.

The feel is pretty good though...they aren't flush on the knee, so there's a bit of room in the kneecap area but you get used to it.

All that being said, they are being sent back for warranty since they already torn after a handfull of use. All I'm saying is my old cheap Kyle Straits don't have a tear in the material...after 5 years of dh abuse and crashes. And the Kyle Straits never ever slipped off. It's unfortunate they tore so easily and slip, because the design is spot on.
