I have had the opportunity of riding this bike several times and I must say I love the ride quality. The downfall of a lot of all mountain bikes is that they can be cumbersome-especially when it comes to climbing. Not this mountain goat! It climbs as well as it bombs down hill. This is largely due to the lighter frame and slack angles. Definitely an all day bike. Comparing it to the Bronson its a no brainer on which cream rises to the top. I would highly recommend this bike and its sure to make you an enduro winning machine!

If you have specific questions on the bike feel free to reach out to me direct at 801-736-6396 x 4074 or wbranham@competitivecyclist.com

amazing value

This is one of the best all-around performing bikes we offer. A 1,050-gram monocoque frame with asymmetric chainstays aids in power transfer, while a semi-integrated seat mast and formed, angular tube profiles provide lateral stiffness. The bike's ProTour geometry tilts the GTS more toward the racy end of the performance/comfort spectrum, and with a carbon fork the bike is perfectly capable of serving up equal heapings of speed and distance for riders willing to give as much as they get.The bike is super comfortable for long rides and excels in areas where the roads are rough and coarse. I just recently sent one to my Sister in Kauai and she was in awe of the buttery smoothness and performance on the sketchy roads in Hawaii.if you have the means i highly recommend picking one up.

Feel free to contact me direct for questions or comments. I can always throw in a little something if you would like to place an order.

This is one of the better long travel bikes to come out in a long time.I had the opportunity of riding it at Outerbike last fall and was very impressed. Its designed for the casual trail riders to the enduro racers who are looking to assault the trail both up and down.
The frame is made with a hollow box, high compression internal molding process which creates very dense frame walls and allows the bike to take impacts but is laterally stiff and lightweight.
The pedaling on the bike I found to be very efficient. Its a combo of the updated DW-Link rear suspension, the updated upper link shock mount and the Fox Float X shock ( a sweet combo). It gives the bike cross cross county like efficiency and smoothness.
The DW Link provides an awesome platform for climbing-no pedal bob and anti squat. Its probably the best long travel climber I've tried.
On cornering the bike performed very well. The combo of the short rear end and the slack front end gave the bike a very balanced feel and allows for very quick 180 degree turns.
Pivot took everything we look for in a fun, aggressive trail bike and magnified it in a big way. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up before they are gone!

Pinarello Wins Again!
5 5

According to the TDF live stream:

Italian brand Pinarello becomes the most successful in the history of the Tour de France with 11 overall victories, clinched by Pedro Delgado in 1988, Miguel Indurain in 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995, Bjarne Riis in 1996, Jan Ullrich in 1997, Oscar Pereiro in 2005, Bradley Wiggins in 2012, Chris Froome in 2013 and 2015. Second on the list is Peugeot with 10 wins from 1905 with Louis Trousselier to 1977 with Bernard Thaovenet

Its no surprise that they won on F8's this year!

I recently purchased one of these for my wife and I am extremely please with the ride quality and component group. The bike is super comfortable for doing longer distance riding yet snappy and responsive in quick accelerations. It also climbs very well. At this price point its an amazing deal for the quality received and I would definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a higher end bike on a budget.

I was happy to see that we are carrying Ellsworth bikes now as I had a chance to throw a leg over one of these at dealer camp and had a blast on it. My initial impressions of the bike were great. On to ride quality: The bike is very well suited for XC type riding and is definitely an epic ride kinda bike. Although I didn't spend a ton of time riding it I felt the bike was very comfortable for spending extended hours in the saddle. Even though it is on the comfort end of mtn bikes it actually climbed well with very little bouncing of the suspension. Due to the longer wheelbase of the bike Its pretty relaxed on long flowy type trails and decends extremely well. Even though the wheel base is a bit long it still handles pretty well in tight, twisty singletrack. To sum it up the bike is super fun to ride and left me wanting to explore more on it. We only have a limited number of these so i would recommend picking one up before the disappear.

This is a custom build and the components chosen are well suited for the bike but could also do this build with a 1x11 set up.If you choose we can swap or upgrade components as well. If you need help or guidance feel free to reach out to me direct. We always have the best prices and service anywhere. wbranham@competitivecyclist.com or 801-736-6396 x 4074

great bike-greater value!

This is a great deal from an awesome brand. Very simple single pivot design that's tough enough for the roughest trails. Classic SC geometry so has a very smooth feel on the trail. Pick one up before they disappear!

***This frame is available in the green color as well. These are custom builds so components can be swapped or upgraded. We can also add a dropper post as well. If you have specific questions or need guidance feel free to hit me up direct!

stiff and light
5 5

This is an awesome wheelset! Just picked up a Yeti that was spec'd with these and I'm extremely satisified. Very stiff and light weight . They are ideal for XC racing but durable enough to be an everyday wheel as well. If you haven't experienced carbon on the trail its a very unique feel that will have you instantly sold. Highly,Highly recommended!

This bike is an amazing value.I have had the opportunity of riding this bike several times and really enjoyed ripping it around the trails of Utah. Its very well rounded. Most definitely a race machine as it is stiff and lightweight but its also a very comfortable hardtail and ideal for doing longer rides as well.. This is largely due to the over sized tubes, big tires and clever carbon layup by Niner. The icing on the cake for this build is the sweet X01 drive train (1x11) The X01 is extremely efficient on the trail. Say goodbye to chain throwing with this set up! It shaves weight too . If you have never experienced 1x11 on the trail its time to make the switch. I highly recommend adding this stud to your stable.

***This is a custom build so components can be switched out .Not seeing your size? We also have a few close out Air 9 RDO's in various sizes we can do this same build on for just a few dollars more or we can do the same build with a 2015 model.Feel free to reach out to me direct for questions or guidance wbranham@competitivecyclist.com or 801-736-6396 x 4074

RDO stands for Race Day Optimized and it doesn't disappoint! As we all know, the carbon 29er hardtail is the fastest race machine you can buy for most types of offroad racing. Niner has taken their famous Air 9 Carbon a step further and created the Race Day Optimized model for those of us that want the fastest of the fast.

I'd have to describe the Niner Air 9 RDO as the quickest handling and most nimble-perfectly suited for the east coast and those tight twisty trails everywhere. It doesnt have that sluggish 29er feel plaguing most 29ers and quickly responds to any input from the pilot. Its an amazing deal right now so scoop one up before they disappear.

*** Beacuse of the awesome sale price of this bike we can put together a very impressive build and a significant savings. I do have a couple of packages that I would be happy to discuss. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
