I bought the pair of elbows and knees for $27.XX each and they were a bargain. These are my third set of elbow/knee pads and I like them more than the previous stuff I bought. I have read some reviews about how they slip down while riding but I have not experienced that. They fit snug on me and they are not too bulky. The mesh backside is very breathable for warm rides and the impact absorbing material is pliable so it will help when you take a spill.
Overall, I would recommend these to a friend as I am beyond satisfied with the purchase. I checked around and at a price point of approximately $55 for a set of pads, these can't be beat.
I bought these jerseys in a few different colors because they are the best ones that I have ever put on. The material, weight, fit, and look are perfect. There is only one minor issue is that the neck fits a little bit tight when they are zipped up all the way. I have a skinny neck and it's snug on my so keep that in mind if you have a thick neck. I guess that's why they put zippers on these things in the first place.
I would still recommend these to anybody looking for a basic jersey that has a simple look. I would definitely get more of these if more colors were offered.
I have worn these a couple of times and I cannot find anything good to say about them. I purchased these because they are Alpinestars, so they must be decent, right? I was wrong because aside from being light weight, these are sub par. They are a bit snug at the leg openings so I find them to be uncomfortable. The foam padding feels thin and low quality as well.
My overall thoughts are if you are looking for a cheap pair of impact shorts, and you do not need a lot of protection then these may be okay for you. However, if you are looking for protection from shorts that are supposed to work properly during an impact, then I would spend a little bit more and get something better.
As others have indicated about these shorts, make sure you buy a size bigger than usual. I have a 34 waist and I usually wear a L. I bought a pair of these in L and they fit a little snug. I do not even have to make use the hook and loop adjustments on the sides simply because they are always on the biggest setting.
I regret not getting them in XL because they are actually nice. I love the way that they fit and the length is not too short for me (6'1"). They are about an inch below my knees. I also like the zippered vents on the legs and the lightweight, but sturdy, material that they are made of.
This is my fourth hydration pack and second Fox one. I have always been a fan of smaller packs because I am a minimalist. The only downfall of carrying a smaller pack is that you find yourself making decisions about what to take and what you leave at home. With this pack, you don't have to do that. I debated between this one and the Portage (the next size up), since I already have the Fox Low Pro for short rides. I decided to go with this one and very satisfied with my decision.
So if you're like me and you feel like you want more room to carry all your stuff, but do not want to be weighed down with a huge pack, then this is the perfect hydration pack for you. It even has space for your helmet.
At $8.95 a pair, there is not much you can complain about regardless of how good they are. Don't let the price fool you because these are my second pair of gloves from Fox and they are just as good as the ones that I paid more for.
There is no padding on the palms, but the texture is nice and offer terrific grip. They are lightweight so they don't feel bulky and offer good ventilation so your hands can breathe on those warm days.
At first, I thought they were a bit on the heavy side, but after using them for several rides, I realized that they are great for mountain biking. They are durable yet comfortable. The stiff sole doesn't flex under hard pedaling so I love these shoes. I recommend them to any rider that is looking for a shoe that works well on and off road, and also blends in with your casual riding gear.
I would recommend these to anybody that is looking for a nice looking, durable shoe, that performs well under any circumstance. As a matter of fact, I'm so satisfied with them, I am looking into picking up another pair of Five Ten shoes in the near future. They fit true to size so you do not have to second guess what size to order.
