It was a hard choice between these and the T-covers, but I went with these. I love 'em. My previous toe covers had stitching on the bottoms around the cleat hole. That thread got caught in my pedal spindle and destroyed the cover. Not these LGs. The bottom is a solid piece that fits easily over my Speedplay cleat. I've used these in temperatures down to 44F. In that weather, combined with wool socks, my toes only got cold after 12 miles (a lot for me in that temperature). In warmer temperatures, I've no issues with these at all. They wear well and do their job. I recommend them if you're in the market for toe covers.
I'm enjoying my Sugoi RS bibshort a lot. It's comfortable in the extremely hot weather we're having here in Texas this summer. I also like the fact that it's not just black and that the chamois has venting/perforations that work (!!). This gear seems to run a bit small. I have a 33-34 inch waist so I ordered a medium (that's the size of my other set of bibs), but these are a bit tight. I wish I'd have gone to a LBS to try both the medium and the large on before ordering. Yeah, I could've returned it, but it's not so uncomfortable that I don't wear it. Just a bit tight sometimes. Also, the chamois, while nice, isn't all that great. It's just varying densities of foam - no gel - and that's what it feels like. Overall, I'd recommend these to others with the caveat that they try some on first at a LBS or be prepared to return them if they're too small.
I'm 5'10" and 171 lbs. I bought a large. I'd call the fit snugly relaxed. Not Euro-race tight, but quite comfortable. Pockets are big! I bought the white one and am very happy with it. Comfortable despite the intense heat in Texas this summer.
Prior to buying this pair of bibs, I only had a pair of low-end Pearl Izumi and Sugoi cycling shorts that I wore. Wow. What a difference. The chamois is very comfortable and I feel like I've been missing out on something for some time. The fit is a bit snug. I am 5'10" and 168# so I ordered the medium. If you have the financial means and have a similar build to me, I'd order both the medium and large and see which you like better. That's not to say that I'm displeased or uncomfortable. Far from it. I'm very happy with the fit and finish of this product. I'm not sure how useful the reflective parts on the back are since I wear a jersey over the top (as I am sure many do), but it's still a nice touch. The product seems well put together and will, hopefully, last for a long time. It was a very hot summer here in Austin so I had ample opportunity to test the effectiveness of the Cold Black technology. Honestly, I couldn't tell that much of a difference. Yes, my legs and lower body were slightly cooler, but I was hotter above my waist where the bibs provided support (by covering up flesh) that is lacking in a plain cycling short. A trade-off, perhaps, but I was still pretty hot when I'd get home from work and it was 100+ outside. All in all, this was a STEAL at $99 and I'm happy that I spent the money.
