The anchors appear to be made out of reinforced hard nylon plastic. Where they fit into the tailgate there shouldn't be any visible damage if it caused any. It wedges between the bottom edge of the tailgate and the leaded edge of the bed. It becomes locked in place when the tailgate is latched shut.

I absolutely love this jacket/jersey and regularly get comments on its cool looks. It has tons of nice little features like the built in eyeglass wipe and audio port. My only complaint is that it paunches up around the waist and I'm constantly pulling it back down when I stop. It's probably just a sizing issue.
Upgraded from Deore to these. I now have a complete Deore XT drivetrain from front to back. The M770 works great together. Smooth crisp shifting with a handy two way shifting system. No more having to take the trigger finger off the brake to shift!
I have one of these bad boy's in white. Light weight, stiff, won't mess up your carbon bars, and matches my frame ta-boot!
Great melon protector. Covers your entire head and dials in perfectly. Doesn't get in the way of your glasses or ear buds. However, it is a bit heavy, especially with a light mounted on top.
First of all, I am a huge Fox Racing gear fan. I own multiple Fox jerseys, a helmet, shorts, and gloves. All of them are tough and functional. These socks, however, are probably the biggest let down I have ever experienced from a manufacture. The socks worked the first ride and by the second a toe hole ripped. I figured, defect perhaps, so, I ordered another pair. On a wet ride with the new socks both tore holes though the top. I had to pitch both pairs. I may never buy Fox brand socks ever again. I switched to deFeet and may never look back.
These things are made as if you were about to traverse the alps! Gone riding in wet weather below freezing without the slightest chill. Beautifully made, far better than Pearl Izumi barrier covers that I have tried in the past. Zipper vs Velcro up the back is much tighter and seals out the cold. But, there seems to be a defect with the zipper stop and one the zippers has fallen off. I am now in contact with Endura for a manufactuer defect and exchange.
