Here's what others have to say...

I've had some decent jerseys but never had gotten around to getting something quite as nice as this. It really does fit like a glove. Very comfortable as well. Doesn't feel too constrictive either. Really glad I saw this on sale at Realcyclist. But as great as this jersey feels I'd even have to consider some of Giordana's FormaRed gear even if it isn't on sale.

Been a bit of an untypical warm winter so far. But on the few cold days I've had this has kept me nice and warm. It's not very thick as I thought it would be. But so far it's done a good job of keeping me warm. Haven't had a chance to see what it can do in the really cold temps. But I'd think you could always add some layers for temps well below freezing.

First let me say I got these free for ordering another Descente product. There is some nice thick material on the gloves. Where it can get a bit chilly is the side of the fingers. I guess to make the gloves more breathable there's a thinner more lightweight material on the sides of the fingers. If you spread your fingers apart you can really feel the breeze. But if you are able to keep your fingers together it's not too bad. Then of course there's the mitten pullover as well. For me these are a good mid-weight glove. I've got some heavier Descente Element gloves that I like quite a bit. I've also got some lighter gloves as well. So for me I plan to use these when the temps in the 40's. I think you could use them in upper 30's as well. But I've got the Element gloves for that. I mentioned this in my Descente Element glove review as well. I'm not a huge fan of the clip to hold the gloves together. It's nothing horrible but I've seen much better clips on other brands of gloves. If there's one thing that bothered me a bit it was that on one of the gloves some of the small silicone grips have already come off. There's still plenty of silicone grips left and I knew eventually some of them would come off. I was just a bit disappointed that some started coming off just after a few weeks of use. I was tempted to drop the star rating because of this. But I haven't had that many come off and I haven't had any actual grip issues because of it either. I suppose it's also hard to complain too much because as I said earlier I got these free. But I still think it's something that should be mentioned.

Seems like the initial description of this product got mixed up with another product. Originally it was listed as having a bib. But I could see in the pictures that it didn't. It was also listed as having a chamois. I didn't see any pics detailing the chamois but I still thought there would be one. But when it arrived I was a little disappointed that there wasn't one. After the initial disappointment though I decided to keep them anyway because I wasn't dead set on having some tights with a chamois. And I've got to say I've been pretty happy with the actual product. I'd just been making due with some leg warmers but decided I needed to break down and actually get some real tights. It's certainly a lot thicker than the leg warmers I was using. I was a little worried about the zippers at first. The first time I wore them I had a hard time getting the zippers to zip up. But I think they were just a bit stiff. They're on the back of the leg compared to being on the side with the leg warmers I have. More aerodynamic but it is a little bit harder to reach. But since that first use I haven't really had any problems. I haven't had any chances to use these below freezing. But I've used them with temps in the upper 30's and they've kept my legs nice and warm. So I've got to say I've been pretty happy with these. Because of the initial description I had been ready to drop the star rating down. But to be honest it's not really any fault of the equipment itself. So I decided to give it a four star rating anyway.

Overall I've been pretty happy with these gloves. I had a pair of lightweight gloves that just wasn't going to cut it for winter. Temperature is relative to everyone. I've used these gloves below freezing and I think they've done pretty well. For extended periods of temps in the 20's and teens though the ends of my fingers got a bit cold. But really in those types of situations some of the 'lobster style' gloves are probably more of what you need. Really my only complaint is I'm not a huge fan of how the gloves attach to each other. The clip system seems somewhat cheap compared to some of the other gloves I've seen. But it's functional and I wouldn't change my mind about getting these gloves just for that factor.

I got this late Fall, so I haven't had many opportunities to use it yet. But for me it seems to fit pretty well. It's a little tight around the armpits but it's not too bad. I've used it a little as a base layer and it's been comfortable enough. Looking forward to trying it out in the Spring when it warms back up. One thing I also liked about it was that it has an UPF rating. Last summer the sun was a bit hard on my skin. So I'm wanting to do something about that for next year. I liked it enough to go ahead and buy a second one while it's on sale.

Been doing some road bicycling over a year now but been hesitant to making the switch to actual bicycle clothing. Now that I'm finally making the switch this seemed like a good choice. It has a loose casual fit if you're not into the tight bicycling clothing. Or if you're like me and still trying to get yours body in better shape. As the specs say it's meant for cool weather not cold. But with the loose fit you can get some base layers in easily when the temps drop a bit more. Also to keep in mind it doesn't offer a lot of wind protection. But I'm still pretty happy with it and managed to get it one sale at a really nice price. Almost wish I had bought a second while the sale was on.
