Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this a few months back and have used it when traveling by car. I really like the design. There is a nice sized compartment that can be open by zipper separately from the main storage area. It is great for storing a toiletries kit. Both sides on the inside have zippered nets which is handier than I anticipated. Helps keeps things in their place and can be flipped either way when opening without spilling everything out. I have been taking it on business trips (as well as cycling adventures) because of the way it keeps everything organized. There is a handle on the top of it which actually comes in quite handy when lifting it into the car. Even the spot for an ID tag is well placed. Of course, it has a subtle, but very cool, Castello branding as well. It seems a bit pricey, but I lucked out and found it on sale one week here at Competitive Cyclist. I have to say, however, that it is worth it even if you have to pay list.

I bought one of the kits in white and I absolutely love the fit and "the look." I've gotten many complements about how sharp it looks. The combination of fabrics on the jersey is great on a hot day; the bibs fit well. I will point out the obvious--it is very challenging to keep the bibs clean as they seem to almost pick up smudges from the wind. I spray them with spot remover/presoak before washing, and most of them have come out.

I bought one of these kits since I am a Bianchi nut and the celeste caught my eye. I think the fit, style, and fabric is outstanding. My only small quibble is that the primary color of the jersey after a few washings has become a very dark navy (instead of black) while the bibs have stayed jet black.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have owned a number of Castelli bandanas over the years, but this is the first one I have liked for more than its brand name and style. It fits really well even without tying as this model had a half spherical shape and stretch and it does a good job keeping sweat out of the eyes, bugs out of the hair, and sun off the dome of my head. I like it so much, I ordered one in each color.

I ordered a second pair of these because I like the"look" and the pad is Castelli's best; same as in their "skin" bibs. First pair got a hole in them after only a couple of wears/washes. I own many other pairs of Castelli shorts and the small is just a bit loose in most cases, but these are really, really tight. I ordered a M replacement because I thought maybe the hole was because they were too small and stretched too tightly. I hope that's the case and not a quality problem like the other reviewer mentioned. I will definitely look them over carefully when they arrive. I had one other time when Castelli seemed to run small. My guess is that they use different sizing for their European distribution and American distribution, and once in a while they get a European sizing over here. Anyway, definitely recommend at least a size larger than you normally order in Castelli.
