I just received my Lakes today and they look promising. I'll post a detailed review in a month or so, but I wanted to give some helpful sizing advice for others: go with the wide size unless you know that you need a very narrow shoe typically! I actually have slightly narrow feet, but these Lake 46 wides feel like a normal width shoe from other brands. I'm normally a size 11 US shoe size, and the Lake 46 wide feel like a typical US 11.5. This is perfect since I want a bit extra room to wear thick socks in the winter. The 45 Lakes feel a bit shorter than a US 11 to me and I'll be returning that pair.
The main-body description claims under 1500g, but the side description says 1620g. Is the rear spacing 135mm? Are these actual road-tubeless compatible, ie. can you mount a set of road tubeless tires and pump these up to high pressure? If so, these look like good do-everything wheels: can do CX racing with low pressure tubeless or road/gravel rides with high-pressure tubeless or larger tires. Thanks!
I've had this helmet for over a year, and love the fit and look of it. The only issue is that the plastic visor is flimsy and will likely break eventually, just from plastic fatigue. This happened to me and many other people. Huck-n-Roll tells me that they don't have any spare parts available for these helmets, but that they are aware of the problem and are contacting Urge about spare parts availability. So, we should see spare visors for sale here eventually.
These are great shorts, I bought these based on the other great reviews of these shorts and I agree totally. Super comfy and well made.
