I love this helmet - it feels very light and durable at the same time. It is very breathable, and fits very well. I normally wear a small in ski/snowboard/bike helmets, and the small was the perfect size. I love that i can tighten the click wheel on the back to really dial in the fit.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this Fitbit Charge as an upgrade from my original Fitbit flex. I wanted something that could monitor my heart rate throughout the day, and this has done a great job. I've worn this running while also wearing my Garmin Forerunner 225 to compare the accuracy. For the most part, this tracks my HR very closely to the Garmin. The only issue I have is that if I run for extended periods of time, the heart rate monitor on the Fitbit stops working. If I remove it for 30 seconds or so, it starts working again. I also like this Fitbit vs the Flex for the display. I can get a real-time view of steps, heart rate, and the time. I also bought one for my mom, and she is becoming addicted to counting her steps!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

After wearing regular tennis shoes or trail running shoes for mountain biking for several years, I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy these Five Ten Freerider Shoes. I prefer to ride with flat pedals, and these shoes are the perfect compliment. The soles are very sticky, keeping my feet in place the whole time, without having to clip in. I found the shoes to be very comfortable straight out of the box as well, and the fit was true to size.

These little tablets are a life-saver after or during a long hike or bike ride. You can even toss one or two in your hydration pack, to give you constant electrolyte-hydration-goodness. P.S. Long night of drinking around the campfire? Put one of these in your water bottle first thing in the morning, and you will be hydrated and feeling better in no time...
