i've owned three pairs of leatts over the course of 5 years, two of them broke from being used so much/ tossed around in my gear bag a lot, but the most recent of my leatts is the dbx pro carbon and coming from someone who does a lot of crashing and thrashing, these hold up great. The carbon obviously increases it's stiffness and strength, and decreases its weight. I'm very happy with all of the leatt braces in their lineup, but this one is by far my favorite. Of course, the one big drawback is the price, but again, you get what you pay for.
I just recently purchased the orange/white jersey along with the matching pants and they work and look great! I use the jersey for mostly dh/fr, but it's light weight and breathability make it great for all-mountain and xc as well. If you are looking for a full matching dh kit, I'd recommend getting the same kit as I did: the orange/white jersey, and the orange/white Fox Push pant. You won't be disappointed.
I just recently purchased a pair of the retro, white/orange ones and they are great! They are much lighter than the troy lee pants I had before and they breathe very well too. The vents on the front and side really cool your legs down on hot days and the fleece in the crotch and knee areas make for comfortable peddling. Not to mention the fact that they look amazing as well! If you are looking for a great pair of dh/fr pants, these are the way to go. I also purchased the matching jersey, the fox covert 3/4 sleeve in orange/white and they are just that... matching. So check the jersey out too if your are looking for a full matching kit!
