Jonny Atencio's Bio

Born in the thriving metropolis of Ogden, Utah Jonny "A" Atencio is no stranger to the mountains.

Once, in Idaho, he caught a wild steelhead with a piece of dental floss and a strip of bacon- He befriended the steelhead and then trained it to hunt down and retrieve smaller fish for his sustenance.

He has been sighted in more than one VIP lounge, sprawled out on the couch, PBR in hand- even though they were only serving Belvedere and Cristal

His training regime is extreme: some say, a bit too extreme, in fact, it is often referred to in all caps. EXTREME.

Using only a can of Adobe sauce, some fresh garlic cloves, a pork roast and a book of matches, he made an award winning Barbacoa Pork that was on the Today show- Al Roaker really enjoyed it.

As you can see, his beard is a mix between weak and not so good-

He has worked for the Secret Service, the FBI, and Interpool at the same time, from a remote location- it got to be too crazy for him

He has 4 pairs of Blundstone's, and rotates between them weekly. People think he has dozens of them.

He is addicted to Green Chile.

He is American.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This light is bright and extremely well made. If you value being seen from a long distance- then this is for you. I've owned cheaper plastic flashing red lights, this puts those to shame. Spend the extra few dollars and get something that is really bright.

This bike is a timeless beauty. The attention to detail is impeccable. I absolutely love this bike! It is quick, light and nimble. It's a real crowd pleaser, not that that is an important thing- but people do really trip out on this bike. Check out what Aaron Gulley at Outside Magazine had to say after riding it for a few months.

I have this light on my bars, and a Diablo MK5 on my helmet. This combo is seriously amazing. Well made, no hassles with a battery pack and wires. People trip out when you ride up on them- you have to turn it all the way down, or people thing a train is about to pass them. I love these lights!

This cool kit works like a charm. The days of putting glue on tube and waiting for it to vulcanize are in the past. I can't say enough good things about this little kit. GET ONE.

I just borrowed one of these for the 24hrs of Moab- I ran this off the bars, and was more than happy with its performance. The medium setting is plenty bright, and the unit is really light- I did not have any problems with it falling off, and believe me the course in Moab is super bumpy. I was very happy with the unit, and plan on buying one in the near future.
