Jonathan Page's Bio

I am a husband, father of 3, and professional cyclocross racer. I have lived in Belgium and raced against the best in the world, for the last 10 years. I have had plenty of hard times and a few successes too. I've won the Elite National title 4 times in my career and I stood on the podium of the World Championships, in 2nd, in 2007. My "team" consists of: my family, FUJI, SPY, BackCountry, Competitive Cyclist, Shimano, Lazer, Challenge, Clifbar, Sommerville Sports, Fulcrom Group, Franky Vanhaesebroucke, and many friends and supporters who help me when I need it. I wouldn't be doing this without my team!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been racing cross for many years now and I know a good tire when I ride one. Challenge has stepped it up and is now making the best tires in the World. The silk casing on this tire had made a noticeable difference. It's incredibly supple and therefore better on the cross courses. The classic tread pattern is great for most any circuit so if you are looking for just 1 set of tires, these are your best bet. I have tested these on circuits around Europe and the USA and they have never disappointed me. These are great tires.

This helmet fits awesome. The dial adjuster makes it possible to have a perfect fit. I forget that I even have a helmet on my head it's so comfortable. Absolutely know shaking around on the bumpiest of trails. Sun visor is perfect for blocking mud and sun.

I use these as race and training foods for long events. I actually look forward to eating these, like back in the day when I used to take cookies with me for fuel. They beat the bonk and don't make you feel sick or bloated. Whomever thought up this recipe did a great job. I think they should add "race and training" to the list of "recommended uses". ;-)
