Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Like many of us, I have spent years trying various chamois cream brands in search of my perfect match in terms of comfort and value. I have founds Doc's provides me with the best solution so far. I love the lasting effect the Assoc product provides but don't feel compelled to pay the extra cost for regular training rides. I still maintain some in my inventory for the extra long rides on the hottest of days, but Doc's has become my go to chamois cream for even my longer rides. Out of the container, this cream is thinner than Assoc and doesn't give you the impression that it will have the staying power to protect you on long rides. I have been pleasantly surprised, however, by how well it lasts (and generally stays were it was applied). I just placed another order to rebuild my stock.

I wear these more for the sun protection than for any "cooling" capacity. I have fair skin and need to wear these for the added protection. Unlike some other reviewers, I don't find the protection of these sleeves to be any less than some other brands. For added protection, I do apply sun screen to my arms before putting on the sleeves, no matter the brand. For most other brands, I wear a medium arm warmer or sleeve but I find the large LG sun sleeves fit me best.

Nice jersey. I was looking for wind protection in a long sleeve jersey that I could use as an outer layer for riding in NC. We have our cold days but nothing like those up north so I wanted something less than a jacket. This jersey would be perfect if I expected to go with a single base layer underneath. I'm 5'11", 160 and the large fit me real well. I ended up returning only because I wanted a little more space for another layer. Nice product and cut for those looking for slim sizing. I may end up owning one in the future as I expand the wardrobe.

This is a real nice jersey but fit just a little too snug for the layering I wanted to use. I decided to go with a similar Gore product that gave me a little extra room. It was a tough call though. I'm 5'11, 160lbs, size 39 jacket and this fit real well and would be perfect if you plan to use with only a single base layer. Note the Windstopper fabric appears to stop at the elbow so if you are looking for wind protection for your lower arms, you'll need some arm warmers to get the job done.
