Here's what others have to say...

I had expected much more from Garmin. Though this is the 1st generator Virb, there are enough camera's out there to get an idea of what users would desire. The design is great, it addressed many issues a cyclist would want in a camera, such as a top mounted LCS display (the GoPro has a forward mounted display, which is useless if you want to watch battery life etc). However the issues begin once the unit is turned ON. There is a lag between input and output of video, this can cause the display to glitch at times. The unit also freezes up at times. Once you get to know the quirks, you can get around them, but many times it requires a restart. The dashboard is a disappointment, as I'd have hoped to choose what I wanted displayed on the screen and to be able to choose where that location would be... as the display fields are on the Edge. I realize that power sensors wasn't one of the types of data this unit would pick up, but seriously, I'd put up with a lot from this unit, if it had the ability to sense my power meter. But given the issues I've had, and amount of hair I've lost in frustration, I will be sending my unit back. Maybe by the second or third generation they will have improved the software and processor speed to meet demanding expectations. I'll stick with my GoPro3+ until then... I had really hoped this would have been a good replacement, but alas this unit has far to go before I try testing out another Garmin camera.

I find that with this lube, it's not so much an oil... I reapply after every 1-2 rides (about 100 miles). As it says, clean off all excess, you can't wipe it down enough. Leaves the drive train silent, after 100 miles it starts to get black and pick up debris, but I believe this lube isn't thick enough to be left on for long durations. Excellent product if you're riding in the right terrain. I'm in PA and do road racing, perfect for what I do. Extremely recommended if you ride the road and like a clean quiet chain and don't mind frequent reapplications.

Bugs galore.
1). Blue Tooth connectivity is spotty at best. I use this for transferring courses and live tracking so the family know where I am for the rare occasion that I have major mechanical issues. Thought I'd try out the text and call feature, but connectivity with the bluetooth feature makes this impossible.
2). Random screen locking, only way I can resolve this is to turn the unit off. Very annoying.
3). Software update included an update to setting up blue tooth connections, didn't see one bit of improvement.

However... After hours of playing with the unit and learning it quirks... Routed a new course based on a recent back roads drive I did with the family on a day trip, managed a blue tooth transfer (yes it's possible, but makes you grow grey hair in the process). The maps were wonderful, MUCH easier to see on the screen, auto dimming, crystal clear screen, easier to swipe between screens and the auto navigation was much more spot on then my 810. But even though these features were good, they weren't necessarily the main reasons why I bought the unit. Usually In don't use maps, the bluetooth transfer was why I bought the 810, was hoping this would be a step up... not so much.

I'll give 2 stars, because some features are a great improvement, but the bugs... I can only give 2 stars.

Hope this review was helpful to potential buyers. Good unit, but beware the bugs. I'm hopeful that Garmin releases new software updates soon to address bluetooth. If not, I'll be returning mine within the 90 day return period. :(

My hands will sweat in these in temperatures above 35 F and I'm fairly comfortable in them down to 25 F (humidity dependent). My son is begging me to get him a pair for Christmas as the other pairs of gloves I've used in the past are now his... they aren't good enough for extreme cold temperatures.

Actually I really like these, black cherry and margarita are my favorite flavors. I've tried all accept for orange and cran-razz, and I can't say that there's one flavor that I didn't like. Gel goes down easier as you don't have to chew, but you don't have to force these down. The energy boost is quite noticable, especially when you're about to bonk. Besides using these when training for cycling, I take a few on long car trips when I'm traveling on a business trip, much better than caffine tabs and beats munching on candy or a caffinated drink any day.

I'm partial to Castelli, because I'm 6' and 140lbs, so their smalls actually fit me and don't hang off like many US company's jersey's and layers do. The sleeveless does the trick in cool weather where a long sleeve under layer will cause your arms to burn up with a long sleeve outer layer on. I use these for cycling, but use them for a layer when hiking as well. Quite versitile.

My son... he's 11... has 2, loves them, they wick, keep him cool, are tight enough, but not overly so and the yellow & red are quite bright, so he's seen flying down the our local cycling loops. The size 12 fits him, should last for a year to two then he'll probably be into adult small. It's probably a good idea to size up in these, they're tight.

The green bottle looks really kewl. Other than that, pretty much the same bottle as my Specialized 20oz bottles, but my little one is more partial to the kewl green color, and now I can tell his bottles apart from mine and not get slobber in my mouth. O_o

To be honest, I love all the Castelli free tights, yes you need to up your size a bit... but maybe because I'm of European decent , I have no problem with their sizing. I'm 6', 145 lbs and wear these in a medium. I actually lost 20 lbs, and I was wearing a medium when I was 165 lbs without an issue, just they were a bit tight on the legs... but what a great motivator to shed the excess weight . I wear domestic sizes in a small. But why do I love European sizes the most? Because they seem to be the only ones that make Jerseys to fit my 34" chest.
