Here's what others have to say...

This is a solid upgrade from the older Edge 500. The screen is easy to see & the extra space is great for those who love to see LOTS of Data. I'm not a huge fan of the touch screen, especially while you're sweating all over it & have to press on the screen several times just to change the page. Oh well, overall I'm pleased but would certainly like some normal button function as well.

This is a very nice summer cut racing jersey. VERY form fitting, but like Assos says super comfortable while in the riding position. Great ventilation, so much so that on chilly rides with arm warmers your arm pits will be cold because of the mesh fabric! The pockets are a good size & easy to reach while riding. All in all one of if not my favorite jersey.

It's nice & light, but with a 24 oz bottle filled it doesn't have enough holding power. I've used it as a BTA & on the saddle of a Tri bike and in both positions it fired bottles out much to my dismay. On a normal road bike application it's probably fine, but not in tricky locations.

A really nice computer if you're into Tri stuff. Works well on the bike, in the pool, or pounding the pavement. Would be great to have more than 4 metrics on the screen while cycling, but definitely wouldn't want a bigger watch while running or swimming so I think it's a good compromise. Having the removable band makes it a bit more cumbersome to wear but nice to be able to click it onto a bike mount.

There are few if any things that I like more in this world than my "man bits & pieces". That being said, I certainly don't mind spending a bit to make sure that everything down below is well taken care of while moving around on the saddle. Won't go on anything other than a short ride without it. DZ I salute you.

The Chocolate Raspberry is the bomb. Pricey as hell, but on long days I'll bring 1 Roctane & 1 or 2 normal GU's. Love the Chocolate, Blueberry, & Orange (not sure they make this anymore) but I find the others to be questionable.

The first time I used Pre Race about 30 min after taking it I questioned it's legality. It's really that strong? which is a good thing, because after tasting something this bad it better work! I've tried mixing it in all sorts of different concoctions but nothing seems to mask the taste. I'd be interested to see how the Pre Race Pills work.

For a racing situation I doubt that anything that isn't illegal could give you more of a boost coming off the line. I do seem to notice that my HR for rate of perceived exertion is a bit higher than normal though, but I imagine it's because all the stimulants pumping through your veins. Bottom line, when I'm racing I'm mixing up some go fast juice before the start.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of magical potion is in these little red pills, but I definitely feel an edge at higher heart rates when taking them. Sure are expensive for a daily supplement when training though.

I've tried a good amount of the recovery products over the last several years & have found nothing that works better for me than Ultragen. I compete in lots of Endurance auto races every year & when getting out of the car after 2-3 hours at aerobic threshold you need everything you can to get yourself back ready to hop in the car in a few hours time. The formula they use is great for all the activities I participate in, I'll just mix it different depending on what I've been doing. After a big ride it's great to make a smoothie with the cappuccino flavor with milk, some extra protein, & a banana. Really like the different combos you can do with it.

When I'm on the bike in the summertime I sweat like a (insert crude joke here). The amount of electrolytes in EFS keep me from cramping up on long rides while I'm losing all the fluid in my body. A year or so ago they changed the formula & the lemon lime which used to be my favorite flavor became a bit too tart for my liking. After trying the Fruit Punch (too sweet) I've settled on the Orange as my new drink of choice.

I love these. Super comfy, plenty of warmth, very stylish on or off the bike. I find myself gravitating towards these for most of my non riding sock use as well. I wouldn't say that I have the prettiest feet out there, but while I'm wearing these I could be the damn Derek Zoolander of Foot Models. They're a bit too warm for the summertime, but when the temp starts dropping these are my go to footwear. Just wish they held up a bit better with all the washing.

Coming from FL originally I wasn't too familiar with the whole Embrocation thing. When I started to ride in the Utah spring weather I quickly found out that all warming balms are not created equal. After trying out something that felt like it was melting off my skin in order to warm the muscles beneath I discovered the Mad Alchemy products. The first time I used Gentlemen's Blend I knew that my search for the right Embrocation was over. It smells great, warms well, & doesn't feel like acid scalding my skin? what a great combo!

I love the idea & packability of this jacket, the actual execution not as much. It's great to stuff in a jersey pocket & barely notice as you're climbing along then throw on over a summit for a long decent. However in changeable conditions or once you start working up a sweat it's a bit like a greenhouse inside. Once the inner fabric gets moisture on it the fabric starts sticking to your skin making removal difficult while riding. The tiny zipper doesn't make things easy either.

I wanted to love it, but find myself reaching for it only really in good weather with a chilly decent ahead of me.

I've had lots of Oakley sunglasses over the years but these are my go to glasses for riding these days. Had a previous pair of normal size Radars & the improved upper visibility while on a Tri bike or an aero position is a welcome upgrade. My only improvement would be slightly better ventilation, can fog up on some mornings while warm & sweaty.

I've spent lots of miles on several pairs of Pro 3's & these are pretty much an upgrade in every way. Ride Quality is great, rolls well, seems a bit more impervious to flatting & improved wet riding. Love putting miles on these bad boys.

When getting a nice lightweight pair of wheels not just any cassette will do. Added this to a pair of Enve 3.4's with an Ultegra drivetrain. Shifts well & does the job it's suppose to. Nice sound also.

Best Wheels I've Ridden

Biggest "splurge" purchase on cycling to date. Wanted a good wheel set that was as good aerodynamically as it was climbing the canyons in SLC. These hit the mark perfectly. Super stiff and responsive, great in any winds, & fantastic bombing downhill. Love every aspect… makes an old Tarmac look sexy. Just wish I would've got them earlier in the season!

I was super psyched to get these after reading the great reviews & I wanted to like them? if they would just stay on my face. The lenses & changeability were great, but I'm a bit of a heavy sweater and as soon as my face got sweaty the glasses would start falling off. I even tried putting an Oakley nosepiece on which helped a bit, but in the end the combination of the adjustable nosepiece & wideish side arms just didn't cut it. Can't go wrong with my Oakley Radar XL's.

So far I have nothing but great things to say about the Vectors. Simple to setup, easy integration if you use Garmin products. I've been coming back from a leg injury and having the true L/R power balance has been very useful for getting back into a normal cadence. Can't wait for the updated metrics to come out in the future.
