Familiarity: I've used it several times

After being told by several of my running friends that I had to give these a try, I finally gave in and got a pair. To say that I am satisfied is an understatement. After a month of running in these, I have better form, am striking more consistently on the mid-foot and am running more quickly. They are very smooth and seem to propel you forward with every step. The upper has a very close and comfortable no seam fit and a little feature that I love is the sausage laces. The tread is suitable for hard pack to mildly rocky terrain. I feel that they are pretty true to size. For comparison, I wear an 8 in most Inov8 models, the Brooks Cascadias, & most Salomon models and wear an 8 in these.

Solid Helmet

I wanted a helmet that sat lower on my odd shaped noggin and offered more protection for the back of my head - I also wanted comfort & quality without breaking the bank. The Morrison fit the bill and I have been incredibly satisfied with it. I find the adjustment system very easy to use and it fits well without feeling tight. As stated previously by another reviewer, I don't like that the ear traps are not adjustable but I got over it quickly as well. Sizing is a bit small, I went with the L/XL & I am generally a Medium.

Happy Knees

My buddy did some damage to his knee earlier this season so I decided it was time I invest in protection. I couldn't be happier with these guys. I purchased a size Medium and they fit well, stay in place and don't cause any irritation. I mainly ride XC but when I take on the trails at Deer Valley and the like, I feel much more confident that I am not going to ruin my summer.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have found my favorite shoe. I trail run, hike, and have ran 2 road/trail races this season in these shoes and have been incredibly stoked. They seem to fit a bit narrow compared to other models in Salomon's line, which is great news for me and I had to size them about a half size down compared to other trail runners I wear(Cascadias, Inov8 roclite). The endofit surrounds your foot in a hug of awesomeness and the quicklace has really grown on me. The outsole is great for hard trail and performs pretty well in rocky situations. The durability has really surprised me as they are really not showing signs of wear after constant abuse on pretty rugged terrain.

I have been using these shoes primarily for hiking and trail running and even did some canyoneering down in Zions in these. I love how the shoes feel on my feet, how they perform and especially how breathable and quickdrying they are. The lacing allows me to get a fine tuned great fit every time i put them on. The outsole is great on almost every kind of terrain(from spring mud to loose scree to rock) although the rubber isn't quite as sticky as I would have thought( the rubber on the terroc 345 is a bit stickier). They are highly breathable and dry quickly. They are also holding up much better and longer than expected.

These shoes are performing great so far. I bought the GTX version primarily for hiking in the snow and they have kept my feet nice and dry(also wear gators). They are holding up well so far, I did add some superfeet insoles which i do in all my shoes.
