I got this jersey in black and it looks and feels great!, the fit of this jersey is the same as their Forma Red line which means form fitting! Read the discription (compression) no flapping anywhere, for reference I took a large, 32-inch waist 40-inch chest and it fits quite snug. Overall, the Giordana FRC line is top notch for those looking for the euro fit type jerseys.
This jesery is meant to be snug fitting which it is. A very Euro fit (compression) means its going to cling to you. I have a 40-inch chest and take a large, it fits tight the way its suppose to. If your accustomed to jerseys with some looseness to them(arms, chest , stomach areas) then the FRC line may not be your cup of tea. Otherwise enjoy the benefits the FRC line offers, breathablity, light weight, and great quailty! I bought two
I am wearing these in the cooler autumn months and find them comfortable with just the right amount of warmth. As a stand alone there good for the mid- 50 temperature range and higher. Haven't worn them as a liner yet so I can't comment on that. One coveat they seem to bleed dye? from the palm area after I am done riding. I have white tape on my drop bar, if you have black or other darker color tape you would probably never notice. The bleeding may stop after washing them..well see.
This is a great jersey for those cooler days, I wear mine with arm and knee warmers in the mid- 50 temp range and feel fine. The merino wool does its job very effectively and the simple pattern design is attractive. I have a 40-inch chest and wear the large, fits perfect. If you are looking for a cool weather jersey the icebreaker should be at the top of your list.
