Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm not sure how they did it, but Levi's nailed these pants.

I ride my bike pretty much every day, and I've been searching for a pair of jeans that I can wear to work that will survive the rides and I believe that I've found them here. (I've been considering going with a $200 pair from Rapha for over a year, and I no longer feel I need to now that Levi's has developed these). A rundown of my impressions so far:

Material: The material seems strong but has some stretch to it. So far, so good.
Fit: I've never been one for skinny jeans, but somehow these guys fit perfectly. Not so much room that the pant leg rubs against the chain, but not so tight that I feel restricted.
Features: Really like the reflectors on the inside of the legs. Every pant should have these!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are incredible pants. I live in Chicago and ride year round and have been searching for great pants I can wear on my daily commute to work. In the past month I have worn these pants almost daily and I'm impressed by the following characteristics:

Material. These guys are tough and warm without being bulky. Water beads off and I think they will last a long time.

Features. I love the reflectors inside the pant legs, additional reflectors at the corner of each rear pocket, and the snaps at the cuff of the legs. Also the small strip of rubber sewn into the left cargo pocket is genius for keeping my phone inside the pocket while pedaling. And the slightly tailored knees make pedaling much more comfortable than regular pants.

It's obvious that Levi's did their homework here, and in my opinion these pants are a home run.
