Renthal Family

Recently cracked the end cap of my grips, the bike fell while I was giving it bath (eeeekkk). So I just picked up a fresh pair of the Super Soft compound (white), and it's noticeably softer than the Soft compound (light grey) I had on there previously. Squishy and sticky, dampens the chatter of a rock garden, and keeps your hands in place with a light touch.

Purchased these hoping they'd be feminine, yet fit for shredding, and long enough to cover the tops of my knees. I have the Ruby liner in a Large and it fits like a dream, so I went with the Large in these shorts. Unfortunately, I had to return them, they were a bit too snug and the length was too short. I'm 5' 7", 150lbs, and wear in a Large in other mnt bike shorts (Troy Lee). - Though these were not the shorts for me, I'd recommend them for a few reasons. - The fabric felt super durable, these may actually last a life time. - There's a convenient waist adjustment on either side.- The articulation around the knee would make these comfortable for peddling.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Coming from a background in dirt bikes I was excited to see Renthal enter the mountain bike space. This company makes great products and has been for many, many years. The quality is evident in their mountain bike line and I'm proud to use their products on both my motorized and non-motorized 2-wheelers.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've only just installed this. Action seems very smooth. The cable length and housing is important to get right. Measure twice and cut once! Definitely one of the more stealthy/clean handlebar actuators out there. Looking forward to some time in the saddle on this.

Just traded in the WTB Volt that arrived on my 5010 for a Selle Italia Gel Flow, and I wish I had done it sooner. I was looking for a bit more saddle width with some additional cushion for my sit bones, and this is exactly that. The soft tissue relief is an added benefit of going with a women's saddle. The Gel Flow throughout the saddle and soft nose makes the weight shifts and "boobs on bar" climbs a hell of a lot more bearable. And while the saddle is soft, it's still stiff, athletic and lightweight.
