Doug Small's Bio

Brewing beer, building bikes, and busting out the banjo are a few things that describe my afternoons. On weekends youll see me on the trail, at the crag, or maybe swilling a pint at the local pub.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've typically bought Dakine gloves over the last few seasons due to a bad experience with some Giro gloves wearing out too quickly in the past. I was looking for something with some better protection and decided to give Giro another chance. These offer good protection with great fit adjustment. The cushioning on the knuckles is flexible and lightweight. I've put some serious time into these and have seen very little wear.

I'd definitely suggest these if you want a comfortable glove with some added protection.

Definitely size up if you'd like to wear both the liner and the outer glove at the same time. Disappointing to find that the liner is NOT waterproof neither is the shell. Hands were wet in moments while riding in the rain. I ended up ditching the liners and was actually warmer with just the neoprene glove. I think they'd work better for cold but they just don't cut it for wet.
